bennybueno, i didn't do anything special other than purchasing good supplies and good seeds. My setup cost me about $300 total. The 250watt HPS was my best investment this year, I'm getting a 500watt lamp soon when my money is right. I've tried low budget grows with CFLs and cheap soil, and I'm always dissapointed with the results.

I just want to apologize to anyone following this thread, I said I would post pics after their first feeding but I never did. I've been experimenting with these plants a little. I topped one right above the 2nd set of leaves and another one above the 4th set of leaves, I transplanted the shortest fattest one into a 3 gallon pot and did some minor LST, and the rest I'm letting grow au-natural. They are exactly 3 weeks old now, not much bigger than they were in the pics because of the stress I've put them through. The smallest "stunted" one is now the same height as the rest though =)

I will take more pics as soon as they start to bush out, they look a little odd right now. I'm also going to start a journal as soon as I switch to 12/12.

well I finally managed to take some new pics, they aren't the best because i took them under the HPS but they will do. They are 3 weeks and 2 days old, I will switch to 12/12 as soon as they are 1 month. Let me know what you think!

this is the stunted plant from the pics on the first page, it is now the same size as the rest of the plants =)

this is the plant I topped right above the 4th set of leaves, its a little skinny but starting to bush out.

this is the canopy, I'm keeping the plants real close to each other so they get optimum lighting.

this is the shortest fattest plant that I've started some minor LST training on

this is the plant I FIMmed right above the 2nd set of leaves. 2 colas are growing nice, the other 2 are slowly catching up.
