good deal?

I am ditching the seed idea. Another tamato plant grower said because I have been a customer of his for a while he will give me a good deal. he said $65 for a 5'' female clone. good deal? I think it is. He is also selling me lights.

also, if i make a mistake, how hardy are they? I am still new. what are signs i am doing something wrong? it will turn yellow? anything else

why are you ditching the seed idea... you take a seed, you chuck it in a pot of soil, you wait a week, you're where your clone would be.

If i have seeds I might get male plants. I thought they would be worth more... he said it will start to bud in the next 3 months. If i grow that clone up till its ready to be picked, wont that product be worth tons of cash? why is it only worth 10?

a clone isn't a budding plant dude. he's not gonna be growing it for you.

a clone (5 inches as you say) is simply a small beginning fo a weed plant. the equiv of maybe a week or so of growth. there will be no buds, no big fan leaves, just a droopy green thing. the way you're looking at it, is that well, a seed will suply you with 2 ounces of grade, so therefore it would seem acceptable for a seed to cost you for 1 ounce say $160, not quite how it is.

bud in the next three months? i can take a seed and it will be budding within the first month.

goto somewhere like the attitude seed bank, they will sell you feminized seeds at good prices, which will be a guaranteed starin etc.

oh, and just re-re-re-reading when you grow that clone up, yes, it will have loads of bud, but in the same way, when you grow that seed up, you'll have the exact same of bud, only the seed cost you $10 instead of $65 for the clone (essentially you're apying soeone $55 for a week growth.

what you should do, buy one or two feminized pick n mix seeds of strains that tickle your pleasure, then when these are getting good in size, you can take a few clones off those plants and go the cloning route from there on, only the clones are free everytime after

65 is a bad deal lol better to go with seeds, uve got a 50/50 chance of getting a female. plant like 4 seeds, and you'll deff get a fem.and if u do get a male and a female, you can have a seed crop so ull never get ripped off by people like your friend who charge 30$ a seed

You cant say he'll deff get a female, it's not even definate with fem'd seeds... nothing is sure fire. It's luck.

you are 100% correct, but with 4 seeds ur chances of getting at least 1 female are 12.5%

you can make ur seeds feminized by putting them in a zip locked bag with a banana peel, (that's what i hear) the peel gives off some gas when it rots.

Incorrect odds. With 4 seeds, your chance of getting a female is exactly 50%. You either will or you won't.

no i was wrong its not 12.5% its 75% for 1 fem... and if you plant 4 seeds its a 50% chance that you will get 2 male and 2 fem.
