hey fdd , whats the longest uve seen a plant in reveg ? cause my mother wont snap out of it and getten 9 hrs direct sun a day, been in reveg since first of june. my clones went into flower as well but they snapped out of it , they are gonna surpass her. i was hopen 2 get 3-4 pounds off mother but im skeptical now .

What's goin on? Had a quick question about feeding my outdoor plants compost. I throw all of my egg shells, banana peels, left over fruits. veggies, coffee grounds, fish guts etc. into a bin. Will these things be good for my garden and how long does it have to decomp before using? I've got some G13 Haze and some Violator Kush plants in Fox Farm soil with lots of perlite and am planning on using thier full line once the nutes in the soil are used up. Will using the compost along with my nutes hurt the plants? Thanks in advance.

if u started compost pile this year it will b ready next year. it needs time 2 breakdown into rich black compost

You should of really asked this question in organics instead of here but I will answer. Sift out the uncomposted plant matter and use the stuff that looks, smells and feels like good soil and leave the rest to continue composting. Just take some semifine chicken wire or something and shake the compost through it and the stuff thats finished should fall through.

i dont see why he should have went 2 organics as most people in this forum go organic. this forum has more people posting and a better chance of a quicker reply

I just think there are better places to ask questions like this... I mean I have maybe seen fdd write two words about composting so why would you ask fdd about it when there are whole threads dedicated to it.

Edit : Maybe you where right I just searched for compost threads and came up with very little this surprises me but I still think you would get more informed answers in organics

also, things like molasses and jam will invigorate composting. the added sugars give the composting organisms a boost of energy and allows them to process material more effectively.
