Has anybody in this forum done this? I'm actually considering on undertaking this feat. I have heard of other people doing outdoor hydroponics. I on the other hand am interested in outdoor bubbleponics.

yeah, I'm doing a one plant thing in outdoor hydro. it's growing!!! just an air pump in my small resevoir, add nutes, and let mother nature provide light. if you do this, keep an eye on the ph as with the outdoor heat, it really is somewhat unstable at times. other than that, it is working and just experimental. I got one female clone from my outdoor grow in it.

ive seen one last summer! the thing was beautiful . round and bushy as hell! the only problem was the extension cord leading to the bushes haha witch isnt really a big deal if you live in a rural place where your neighbors live 1/2 mile up

A bit of a thread resurrection (my apologies)...
Just saw this how-to for a 'Hydroponic Bog Garden'. In practice it looks to be an outdoor bubbleponics system.
I was thinking though... if one had access to a mountain stream to use for oxygenated water (especially if there is whitewater or small waterfalls) - a channel could be diverted from the stream to a smaller-scale bog garden. Would just have to build the smaller version of the bog garden slightly down-hill from the stream so gravity and nature would take over the part where they use an electric bubbler...

Edit to add: Mainly I just thought this might be a cool thing to add on to a water or koi pond if you can grow in the backyard. I could see multiple useful scenarios for the information... I'm just not in a personal position to be able to experiment with a bog garden yet. Maybe someone else can use the information though.
