I have never heard frost being good for a plant but like I said I'm not an outdoor grower so ill take your word for it. But what if he is not ready to harvest? No actually he is right, when i grew outside i would leave my plants in the first frost and cut em all down right before the dew hit. When it gets extremely cold, the plants realize its time to start producing as much as they can before they die to try to get fertilized and they just take off in a matter of a few cold days. Time and family tested technique, produces very nice results.
