Frost Warning Tonight What Should I Do???

I have never heard frost being good for a plant but like I said I'm not an outdoor grower so ill take your word for it. But what if he is not ready to harvest?

No...frost is bad, you want to chop em all down before the dew hits, which is what freezes into frost - go out at about 12-1 am to be safe.

And chuckle if you want hip hop but i don't see how you can laugh at something as time tested as this method.

Don't worry about it.....
They need the rest of sept and most of oct before they will be mature..
as for the washing the frost off thing they said that frost will dry out your leaves washing the frost off (after the frost warining is gone) will help put some of the moisture back into the leaves..
I got some tent poles from an old tent going to build somethign today to cover them up.... Sounds like garbage bags which don't absorb moisture are the way i should go..
Bedsheets seem like they would work to me as long as they arent actually touching the plants....
i just dont wanna go to all the trouble if the frost is gonna make them more potent or not hurt them at all...

A regular fan will work as well as a heater because the moving air will prevent moisture from forming on the plant and then freezing. i dont know if it would work but the same company that makes those chemically activated hand warmers, make a larger body warmer that provides 12hr of heat and i was thinking if you put one on the soil below your plant it might be enough heat to ward frost away. Just a thought, might be worth an experiment. I think they were $2-4 a piece.

i wouldnt cut a prematured plant before frost. id leave it out there. Plants can surely survive frost. we leave it out 2 frosts and they dont die.

ya man i had an Ak 47 and skunk#1 out last year till early november and they were fine, i had to bring em in my car hold at night i think twice due to really low tempatures thoose two nights, but other than that they were fine!

most outdoor plants can handle light frost a couple of times.as long as it does not get lower then that i think u will be ok .

yeah my plants surived the first frost just fine... which means if theres another one... maybe it will survive that one too. also a lot of my biggest fan leaves have turned dark purple as well as my buds are all dark purple now too.. Im not worried about this im just curious.. is this because of the cold temps?

yea, they turn purple becuase of the cold temps, mine have been in colder temps the last week and so far all the fan leave stems are purple. kinda looks cool when the leaves turn purple tho.

ya i read somewhere if your plant gets frost burn it will turn purple...
But the majority of the advice i have received says that i do not want my plants to get frosted on.. At the least it's gonna slow down there growth & they wont be mature before the big frost which will kill them
