Grow tent heat problems

Help me out with my first tent grow. I have a 20"x36"x64" grow tent placed in an open closet. Heat is a big issue in the summer months. The closet is 80 degrees with no lights on. I'm going to exhaust out of the closet.
I will be using a 6" cooltube in my setup. Can someone detail the ideal vent setup for this tent? Due to tent placement, the exhaust is at the top of the tent and the intake is on the opposite side about 3/4 of the way to the top.
I have a 6" exhaust fan that is rated 450+.
What should I use for intake? How do I setup the carbon filter if I want to connect intake > cooltube > exhaust.
Please help this noob. I want to get it right the first time.

Can you attach your intake duct to a place with cooler air? That would make cooling everything a lot easier. You can hook up the ducting to your central air or a window a/c vent

2. You have a powerful blower, so use it to cool the light and the cab. Intake hot dirty air near the top of the tent - cool the lamp with it, blow it out the other-side into a carbon filter on the outside of the tent.

2. You have a powerful blower, so use it to cool the light and the cab. Intake hot dirty air near the top of the tent - cool the lamp with it, blow it out the other-side into a carbon filter on the outside of the tent.

It can exhaust at the top, but that's just one more bend. So basically it does a 180 from start to finish; my grow is set the same way, except mine goes - intake cool-tubes - carbon filter - exhaust w/muffler - whereas yours would end with carbon filter

I have a carbon filter. Setting this up outside of the tent is an option. Good to know.
How does this sound? 6" duct fan intake on side of tent near top > duct to cooltube > cooltube > duct to fan > carbon filter outside of tent with duct out of closet.

Not sure I follow you on the "carbon filter outside of tent with duct out of closet."

Sounds like you're carbon filter is in-line? That would be great, but may have to add a cheap duct booster for the final run (from the in-line carbon filter to the final exit out the closet) if I understand correctly

This is a great idea. Or add a small portable A/C ($$$)

A portable a/c would have to pull outside air though. Correct.
The carbon filter I have is the grownright pure flow 4 jr. from htg supply. I have attachments that fit this to 6" ducts or exhausts.

Should I have the stronger fan for the intake or the exhaust given my situation? I have two 6" inline duct fans that are rated at 250 cfm and a 6" high velocity inline fan rated at 424 cfm.
For passive intake there is an open vent at the bottom of the tent opposite the exhaust side.
