When can you usually tell if it was successful or not? Like time wise?

Should be able to tell within a couple days. You'll notice growth will slow down or stop completely after a transplant, this should right itself within a few days as long as your plant is healthy.

their are times that my transplants are automatic. as long as you dont damage the roots. if you damage the roots then they go through shock for a couple of days!!

Alright awesome, It is around 3.5 ft. Some animals have been getting at it and fucking the leaves up but there are still some leaves on it and appears to be growing out more bush like. it survived its first night and its still very green.
