I don't believe any of those kind of products are even worth the cost. 25 bucks for 130 g of 0-17-38 fertilizer? I don't think so. That's 10 times the price of complete hydro nutrient powder. It has twice the concentration of those two nutrients but even so it's still 5 times the price. Would an intelligent person willingly pay 5x as much for something?
I looked at their website and the Big Bud Bloom page. So where's the scientific data showing the benefits of their brand? There is none. The only scientific facts they quote at the bottom of the page were almost all for ascorbic acid and amino acids. Not one of those quotes says that a plant even absorbs those from the roots or that they increase growth in any way. Well one said that tryptophan increased growth of soybeans, but then weed ain't soybeans.
Just buy some calcium ascorbate from a drugstore or health food store and mix it in yourself if you think it will help. At least it will provide a little extra calcium. Advanced Nutrients, and similar companies, must be laughing their asses off at all the dumb weed growers willing to throw their money at them. Quite a scam they have going there, I would say.
