Beginner Busted on 4/20/09. How the Green Card Helped!

I was a victim, of what is wrong in this country today. A task force came after me on what they called a MJ Hoiday or 4-20. I got a green card soon after and did not let the state appointed lawyer represent me!!! Do Not let the state do shit for you. I would of been a felon and behind bars. The right Medicinal MJ lawyer, who should be easily found in any major city, can really make the difference. My case went from a Felony charge, down to a misdemeanor. They still wanted 90 days for the Dropped charge, the judge suspended 89 of the days and accepted time served(26 hrs). They asked for $1000.00 fine and the judge also suspended $900.00 of it, leaving me a $100.00 fine. But, the lawyer did cost $5000.00 big ones, and again well worth it, as I still have my american rights. WooHoo, It's a good damn thing that I be living in the WestCoast and not some other Square ass state.

Yah, let me tell you about the situation. The state run task force rolls up in 3 Suv's, obviously tinted out, nice ass rims accompanyed with a dodge charger lowered(red). Looking like a California Biker Gang, they represented themselves well (4 deep), with many different personalities. The cool chick(half asian), The short stubby deal Closer with the bald head and a goat-tee. The taller oldest man, with handle-bar mustache and leather vest(the cool guy). Oh and the young 6'2 buff athletic young dude in street clothes. This is about the time the Deal closer approaches me and asks immediately for my signature on a consent form to just go in the house and get the plants that they already believe are in the room. The dude was promising me that If I was to cooperate with them, that I would probably get something in the mail and some probation to fallow. Remember: COPS Can NOT give legal Advice. So don't ask for it, and don't believe anything that they are telling you. I resisted the form and all of a sudden the freindliness dissapeared and the ass-hole came out of two of the COPS. I then told them to quite pressuring me into something I'm not sure of. So, I phoned a Lawyer on my cell phone. That guy said, not to sign anything. The Cops then said that I have nullified my chance to consent or make there job easier, because I said that I was being pressured. It took them about an hour to print out a search warrant issued over the phone verbally by a judge. LOL BULLSHIT! That's about the time the county sheriiff pulled up and arrested my ass. The task force took this computer that I'm typing on, a 22 rifle, grow books/magazines, record keeping, reciepts, 400 W Lamp and ballast, PH/PPM Meters, 90 W UFO LED Lamp.

Man I had no scale, that was found... but, they did take a-lot of baggy's. The charge was Manufacturing an illegal substance MJ... That's it! Not Distributing. I had no Cash and No Dry Weight. They flipped my room upside down. Just 3 mature Plants about a month from Crop. and about 13 starters (3inches tall).
Record Lowest amount of plants ever... Right? That's what my lawyer said!

Worst part about all this!
1. Booked and Jailed for 1st time/charged as a felon, $40,000 bail.
2. Lost my cake ass, recent new Job as a Recreation Director at a Boys and Girls club. Damn, Informant sent an anonymous letter to the association office!
3. Evicted with a 3 day notice from the house I was renting at.
4. Had to give my 3 yr old Bull Terrier, to a dog rescue. Vet bills happened.
5. 95 VW Passat went boom! overheated on me.
6. Just found out last week that I'm having some surgery on a rht Kidney. It's clogged? and I thought I was pretty young. Under 30!

However on a positive note, I did get all my grow gear back from the POLICE. My lawyer was able to work that into the fine writing. I even got my smoking utensils back. One of my pieces or a water pipe costed my ass over $250.00 buckaroos.

It did come out ok. Sure could have been a whole lot worst. Now, I just need to get a super J.O.B. and buy a house and then grow my little ass off. Me and my girl both now posses green cards. So, I'm pretty sure we can grow double the amount within the same household. that would be killer, and then I could try and produce some super smacked up wacked up Hasish..... ahhhhh...... Motivation right?

Somebody's Mother was watching online banking accounts. A fucin sneaky ass Spy Biatch. Thought this was the best way to go about getting me out of her daughter's life.

Wow, and Now I am forced to live with the person who's family coordinated with the underground task force to make some fucin money or to save there asses from getting there own felony.

In Today's Economy, $2500.00 bucks is awarded to those that convict others of MJ Grow Busts. Or Felony Charges!

And Here this: If you get busted and want to save your ass. All you have to do is rat out three of your freinds or people you know. 3 for 1 deal.

There's something wrong with a system that rewards people for turning in other people. Sounds like the old style Russian secret police. Is this what our great nation has come too? The war on drugs and the over hyped war on terror has to stop. How much more loss of rights for "security" can we take before we are no better than a dictatorship? I think I would take the possibility of getting blown up by terrorists over the inevitability of a police state if things don't change..

I don't get what you were busted for if you have the card. Why weren't charges completely dropped? Money in an online account isn't illegal nor is growing and you plan to do the same again but much bigger so please explain precisely what you learned that you did wrong and what you'll do next time that's any different?

what i dont understand is you were found guilty and had to serve time and pay a fine but then got all your stuff back so what was the crime if they gave you all your stuff back then your still doing what you were doing to get busted. looks to me that these cops are like mafia members. they arest u make you pay a fine then return your stuff sound like a shake down. also cops have become pussys they rather go to a non violant pothead house and look like they just saved the comunity than go down the street a risk there life dealing with the blood gang member saleing crack to the comunity. looks like gangs have been able to scare the cops too. fuckn pussy ass cops.

Alright, Helping others and venting is what this thread is all about. I was busted for not having a license present at the time of the bust. The day after the bust I started calling 3 of the previous Hospitals, that I had visited from 05-07 and had all records faxed to THCF Medical clinic. I was denied twice, for non-pertinent records, stating different symptoms. They wanted to see Chronic Back Pain. So after an urgent doctor visit after the bust, the records were shipped over and I was finally approved 21 days later. Was busted on 4-20 and got green card on 5-13. I was almost giving up on the card, when I received a message on the machine saying that I was approved. Wow, what a relief. Thank You God.
Point being! that I am a Fuckin Idiot and am now paying the price for having a relationship with a girl while trying to grow good, free P.O.T.
Ohh and don't forget to get legal, if you can. THE MAN will come after you even If you only have a few plants. And I hope this helps You guys out there. Try not getting Fuc'd like I did!

What I'll be doing that's different- Now, I will be going down to the local task force, or sheriffs dept in my specific county. I will tell them exactly where I live and what I'm Doing and will personally invite them over for hemp tea and Chronic Crumpets. lol. No really, the judge on the stand, straight up said, He wanted me to have a very open and welcoming relationship with local police and that the state laws are behind me and there is a safe and effective way to grow and be greeny.

I appreciate the reply. Good points here. Especially when the next kid or 19 yr. old punk who got busted behind me. Got his door kicked in w/ bong in hand, along with 3 pounds of fresh Chron, a few thousand dollars, and was dealing to whoever. Making money off screwing folks. He had two controlled buys against him as probable cause.

The Crime went from a Felony, Manufacturing An illegal substance MJ. To a misdemeanor, ingesting MJ at my home on 4-20-09. I don't get it either, and that was the first thing that my mother said, "Why, didn't they just drop the whole damn charge?"

I was found with no Green Card and getting high, I guess? rather then being charged as a Felon, growing with no card? that is better and that's why I took the deal.

I have heard of ppl telling the cops about their legal grows. I think that is insane. If the cops show up and threaten you,that's when you bring out the card and say bye,bye, asswipes. Other wise there is no upside to letting them know you grow. All it takes is one ahole cop to be pissed that you are growing and they will find ways to make your life more difficult. There might be a few cops that get it but it only takes one that doesn't.

I got busted because of an anonymous informant 1st off. 2nd my room-mate answered the door (while I'm on my way to work), and verbally on the front porch, confirmed the plants inside the house, according to the police report. My room-mate also said they had about 50 sheets printed off of RIU.org of general conversation and my pics, I had uploaded on this Site! (that was dumb to self-incriminate). They (task force) call me on the phone and try to say, that I also verbally confirmed. They surround me, when I show up and I pull the I'm pressured and back the fuck off Card! I was holding up the rest of there busts, they had planned throughout the rest of the evening. THEN the dude walks to his SUV, phones the county Judge and a Search Warrant was faxed to him. Right, in the front lawn, probable cause was developed to get that Warrant. My Lawyer was pissed about the internet propaganda, (playing with your freedom of speech). And the search warrant was only for my room and the guest room(assumed to be mine), outta 4 bedrooms and everybody rents, my shit was only raided. My 2 other roomies were very lucky...

Somebody's anonymous ass, was watching online banking accounts, saw an aerogarden transaction at the beginning of the quest to get busted. A fucin sneaky ass Spy Biatch.

I then get into a huge fight with girlfreind and the daughter, I kicked her out of my house and her lap-top that left the property had Journal pic's of the grow Op. You could also easily go through the URL history and logg right into my O.C.D. Rollitup account. The passwords were saved and going through my journal online was a big time visual that wasn't needed.


The Informant also is Somebody in my girls family, worked with a task force before in the early 90's, to bust her father and sending him behind bars for 5 years.

OK, much clearer but did your lawyer say you really had to accept that "deal" or was that just the easy and cheap "safest" way out?

I keep thinking that as human beings we have the right to medicate our pain away without paying the state protection money for a card that really offers us nothing and that it would be relatively easy to get any jury in town to take your side on the whole thing and dismiss all charges.

What did the lawyer say about that?

And didn't the bust interfere with getting accepted for the extorsion card because I thought that was a condition required to qualify, that you don't have a recent drug charge...
