Its awfully hard to watch the herb you just spent 4+ months growing walk out the door...... even for the price of a MEASELY $300 an ounce. Money isn't worth dick. I'd rather give the gift to myself, of giving to others, that is more valuable to me than money. Takes 5 seconds for the money to get into your pocket/wallet, and another 5-20 seconds for it to come back out. My memories will (hopefully) be with me to the day I die...... memory of doing something righteous, kind, memory of receiving gratitude, respect, and appreciation.... these memories lasting forever..... no one can take away the GOOD thing I just did........ but if I sold it, I remember the money came in so quick, got spent on the temporary materials of life that I cannot carry with inside of me forever just as quick and easy...... and the money can be taken away so easily, slip away soo easily...... just try and take my memory.
Value is in the eye of the beholder. I choose to view life as precious. I choose to view money as an oppressive tool, and nothing more.
A dirty crumpled crusty pair of socks is worth more than $300 to me.
I can wash them and wear them every day of my life.
Or I could wipe my ass for 300 days (if its all in ones)......
The answer to any argument in this thread is: Value is in the eye of the beholder, circumstance aside.
