That CFL bud I harvested is dry, so I sneaked a puff before throwing it into the curing jar. stoned as fuck, but the taste was pretty neutral with a tinge of citrus. of course it still smells like wet grass. not too bad of a high to be harvested at around 40 days into flowering, fucking tranny.

Its hard not to sneak a little isn't it. A buddy gave me a small bud of some mids he got today. It had two seeds in it but was the first smoke I've seen in bud form around here in a while that wasn't on par with the price of gold. Gonna save the seeds and decide what to do with it after I try it out tonight. Gonna bubble some and vape some to see the difference.

Vortex:

Snapped these today. The vortex is in the ground and the jtr I just put in a 5 gal. I haven't seen the others in a couple weeks but I'll get pics when I do.

Hey guys im from the big NC as well trying to figure out if I can skip the vegg cycle altogether and start my seeds on 12/12 using cfl lighting i've grown with CFL's before and had good results

If you started a plant with just 12/12, you'd just end up with a very small and skinny twig, not even sure it would grow a bud at all, maybe but it sounds like a really really bad idea.

indeed, you can. but not all strains respond well to it.

wrong. it won't yield a lot, but with the right set up and strain, you can get 1+ oz a plant. I just grew two under CFLs, and they averaged about .5 Oz per plant and I neglected the hell out of them.

That TW is starting to get real frosty!

Went out and snapped a couple more shots today.

Agent Orange

She's a little ******, two foot tall and been that way for a month. There are six or seven main stalks though, and all of them are as thick and sturdy as a #2 pencil. I can tell this girl will put on the weight. I bet she'll give me at least three zips. I like the squat way she grows too...I'll be making agent orange F2s using her to grow out next year. I think she's in a 3gal.

This girl was from some dank bag seed...I think..either this one or another could be a Quirkle. I dropped a Quirkle seed and picked up this one and another one out of my carpet looking for it. Neither really resembled the other Q seeds so I'm of the opinion they are both bagseeds.

In a 3gal
And the other

Top side:

She's in a 5gal bucket that is hidden pretty well I think inside the bush.

Another JTR

She's in a 2gal now but I'm going to move her to a better spot and put her in a 5gal sometime this week. Out of super soil though so I'm going to be using ocean forest and a local product.

The rest aren't as easily accessible...and being that we had a shower last night and the temps are in the mid-80s w/ rh at around 75% I don't think I'll be making a trip. They are all in the ground and it's been a couple weeks since I've seen them so if the deer or the rippers haven't gotten to them I should be in for a nice surprise.

Thanks for looking guys.

Yeah that TW was the mother of all the clones. So I stuck her in some pretty thick woods and just let her do her thing. She is very frosty and very stinky. Glad I decided to move evreything outside.

Those look great Angus.

Nice looking plants Angus!

Those should produce some seriously nice budz :)
Thanks ya'll. I've had some killer inspiration here. :hump:

Okay, I went for the big hike today to check on the rest of the ladies.

First thing is that I could not believe how much the surrounding foliage has grown in. There is no way in hell anyone or anything would walk into this brier patch without a good reason. All around it and on the way there were deer track everywhere, but they faded as I started to get close. I literally don't think deer can get to my pot. It's that thick.

First one I came to was a JTR. It, like all the others, was between knee and hip-height the last time I saw it. It now brushes my chin. Looks like a little dirt had been dug up around it by some critter. I kicked it back in and stomped it down.

The next was a lone JillyBean. She is also doing great. Bushy as can be...just really taking off. When I was taking her out I accidentally snapped the main stalk about 10in up. I hurriedly lashed it up to where it stood up straight, leaned it against some briers and left it. Glad to see it recuperated nicely. De facto supercropping

This one really surprised me. My only Quirkle girl. She was real beat up and a lot smaller than all the others. She's now the tallest out of the bunch. I'm 5'10" and she's a good 6-8"+ above the top of my head. I see her coming as I'm walking and stop in my tracks.

She's pretty much two main stalks. Very healthy looking and very sturdy.

The last one out here is another JTR. She was a sight! Smaller than the rest, only came up to about my chest, she was about half lying on the ground. She was topped on like the second or third node and the two main branches were standing tall but three or four 3-4' side branches apparently got too heavy and fell over. They were laying accross the ground and starting to grow back up. Here's one of the branches

And the whole plant.

I messed with this girl for a second trying to find a way to get her to stand up like a (wo)man. Usueless; gonna have to come back with support stakes. In these few seconds my hands got as sticky as...well...I can't think of anything that isn't dirty but they got super-sticky! I rubbed the main stalk between my fingers and took a smell. Lemon pledge! Strong lemon pledge, like sniffing it out of the bottle. I can tell this girl is going to give off some dank.

And I'll conclude this post with a pic of my beautiful agent orange boy.

Okay, I don't know about beautiful...

Angus did you start from seed on your plants that are in the wild? I ask because i found a great spot like yours and was wondering exactly how you did it. Any feedback would be helpful, im ready to start my first grow.

Good day North Kakalinainas
Did you guys out west hear about the 3k plant pull around Elizabeth City? I saw it in the news paper a few days ago. I aint around that area but sure wish I was LOL, snip a little here and there but not enough to mess up the harvest like the coppers did. LOL

Nice man :)

Yeah, I used to buy anything that was FreshJive back in the day. I was rooting around through some old clothes a few weeks ago and found a sick ass old FJ polo and the memories came rushing back from my skater days.

Too bad my fat ass can't fit into it anymore, I would totally sport it :)

Either I used to be skinny or the beer has really caught up to me
