what's wrong with the lighting? There is a total of 6 26w GE cfls as well as 2 24 in t-8 aquarium tubes {one more red the other more blue} also does anyone know the kelvin scale for the GE cfls? i can't find it on the package and figured i'd check here before calling the questions/concerns hot line. from the pictures you can only see 4 cfls but i had to take the others down to snap the photos. they get approximatly 1 gallon distilled water per week.

Yeah i don't mean to sound like i am discouraging you on your first grow, read around a lot and try to suss out where you've gone wrong and see what you think might remedy that from reading others comments.

@Jesushasdreads:
I think maybe that you have underfed your plants as well as having the lighting to far away from them:blsmoke:

yeah, im pretty stoked on how it's turning out. i didn't even start posting on this site or anything until i had a problem....my mistake.

My Biggest Mistakes:

1- Soil has nute balls in it
2- Started with tap water
3- didn't add a fan until after flower
4- fertilizer is not of high quality
5- planted too close together
6- failed to top or clone
7- nute schedule is not at all correct (after i realized the scotts soil i had had nute balls in it i quit adding any additional nutrients)
8- the small plant was stunted after transplanting
9- lighting could be much better
10- possibly over/ underwatering

* i probably have more but that's what came off the top of my head

Thats cool dude my first attempts totally sucked as well,a white widow in an old cupboard that grew wispy buds under a crappy spotlight and one fluro tube.
It had crappy lil buds on it all wispy and fluffy but i thought it was great and it was really because it was my first plant.
I shouldn't really have sounded so abrupt in my manner but i meant no harm.
Do not give up and read as much as you can and try again,as time goes by you will learn to know what to do and when to do it naturally.

Fertilizer doesn't really matter imo in soil anyway i use plain old miracle grow and tomato food mixed with a little bit of molasses and mine grow just fine.
Try using a cheap water filter for your tap water,im wondering if you live in a very hard water area and your roots cant take up enough nutes from the hard water locking them out.
Anyway if you need help just ask around and you will get it,sorry if i sounded offish about your stuff:blsmoke:

nice first plants. but IMO it looks as though you dont have to good of ventilation.
well to get an idea of what i'm working with...it's a room once used for developing photo's [dark room] essentially it's a closet 6 feet deep, 4 feet 7 inches wide, 8 foot ceilings. the closet has an L shaped counter with a sink in it. the couter extends 21 inches from the side wall and 25 inches from the back wall. the counter is 39" above the ground, it has a sink against the back wall, then there is a power strip that runs around the wall about 6 inches up from the countertop. let me know if you want pix. :)
