Yes, he is dropping in the polls, but even those numbers are fudged in a way. His policies benefit greatly the segment of the population which does NOT pay taxes, so he will never lose that base...which is close to 50%

The problem with Obama's Health Care Plan is that he's only capable of putting such stupidity forth with the economy in the gutter. If the economy was thriving he would have never gotten elected. If it wasn't for the imbecilic free trade policies of his predecessors (Bush, Clinton & Bush II) then the country would not be in this depressing state.
If it was not for the lack of willingness to use tariffs to protect American Industry then the United States would still have an abundance of hightech jobs, and would have continued to remain the world's largest creditor nation. The United States has an abundance of natural resources, and an abundance of intellectual prowess.
No, Obama's solutions are not true solutions. They are like using bandaids to try patching up an amputation. The end result is a bloody mess.
