hey guys . so im on my first flower right now with dwc. my last method was ebb n flow and very disapointin. also i was very unprepared. this time around i have ac more light to square feet and more automated plants.

i am all messed up tho now cuz i read all about m blaze and how much he yeilds. then i come back to reality and see that me gettin my always desired 6 zips off a plant is probly a misconception. i use gh gro micro bloom. and thats it. i have a sortov sog goin on. 7 buckets with a plant each in a circle 3 ft in diameter. and a nother roughneck 18 gal. with 4 plants. really more like 3 tho cuz the 4th is so much smaller n never was able to catch up so it got engulfed haha.

i have two 400 watts over this set up. my ppms are around 1700 now in the 123 stage with a 5.8-6.1 ph. its 71-78 and 55-65%.

this is my second time flowering after i crashed n burned the first time. id really love to just yeild shit loads you no . but i ono what i can do to super it up. any advice anyone? someone with massive yeild experience in dwc like mine. heres some pics and also my grow is my sig.

Switch to vertical lights, with at least one per plant alternating with at least two rows so most plants have 3 or even 4 lights right next to them per plant. As in:

0x0x0x0x

See how most have 3 lights near them, 1 per plant... With three rows some would have 4 lights per plant and growing mblaze size tree's can really use all that light.

The bigger and more lights, the more bud. You can never expect mblaze's results with 400w lights though, they will always limit your yield.

If you are stuck with sog then you're stuck with flat gardening and horizontals but you should at least bump up your lights to the max light useable for your area maybe two 1kw hps's if it's just a small grow.

hmm. dang . so how come 400's always limit your grow? i have verticals but only 2 400 watt hps. and i have 4 400 watt mh. i was tryin to stay low on the heat aspect cuz i dont vent my lights i use an ac to cool the room and circ fans. i hope i didnt mess my self up by getting 400's.

nice plants. i use 400w and they do nice. if you got the room and climate control the 1000w will make a big differance.

thanks killer . yea i used a 1000 my first flower. i got the light for a short time. but it was jsut soo dam hot! i was like man when i buy my own shit im gunna get 400's. i read 600 is like the best all round light but it is just not as common as 400. as in i can get bulbs anywhere. n they are a lot cheaper then the 6. so thats what i did. i just hope i didnt fucky myself!

i want to push minimum 4 zips a plant. i just dont think its possible....

and wanted to know if the i got shit set up if theres any kinda super duper shit i can add to get a mad booooom in boostin my babies!

hey bro earlier there are some boosters you can give in the veg to make them larger but big buds require long veg and big flower like said before. big trees = big bud you know i think humbolt makes a nute called gravity that is supposed to add bulk in the flower stages

ebb and flow is less maitnence then dwc

i suppose if you do it diff then i did . it would be. but the plant is in a better climate i think. i had to flood manually and i didnt have the right trays i made mine so i disagree at this point in time.
