No Pest Strip

Well it produces toxic vapors, and I'm sure they would get on your plant if they were around your plant. So what do you think? Some people use them, but personally - I don't think it would be smart to consume anything exposed to the vapors as there isn't any clear information regarding the effects.

What safe method do you suggest? I've thought of using ladybugs or spider mite destroyers but where the hell do I buy that kind of thing without buying on online and having to spend tons of money on shipping and the bugs. Is there any kind of store that might sell it?

Ladybugs can be purchased from Home Depot and other garden stores. Alternatively, Doktor Doom has an excellent reputation for working when used correctly.
The mites on my plant are black, do ladybugs do well against mites? I hear they're pretty weak against them like only 5 mites a day and 10 eggs.
they havent made there way onto any nugs but can i spray doktor doom without causing any harm in any way?

Dude those things are a mother to get rid of and especially during flowering without some kind of predatory mite. Don't spray them with anything other than maybe an organic fogger. If you get too much on the flowers it will leave a heavy residue though. I break off the tab on them and just spray where needed but it's a pain in the ass. Fortunately I have been very careful this year and have none. I always shower and change clothes before I enter the room and especially if I have been outside in the yard working.
Your best bet is to get some predatory mites, that is just the honest truth. I am not sure how well ladybugs work but I have heard they do a great job. If you are going to buy some predatory mites you need either Neoseiulus Fallacis or Phytoseiulus Persimilis. You can find them at Arbico whos prices include shipping. They are from $45 -$55 for 1,000 - 2,000 of them. Also greenmethods.com sells them. There they are from $33 - $44 plus shipping.
For me I won't mess around with anything ever again but using the predatory mites if I have to do it again. The best defense is a good offense by being careful what you take into the room and where you have been before you go into the room. If you do get the ladybugs please let me know how they work. These two places also sell them for @ $40 for 4500 of them... LOL. The mites will bite you and so will the ladybugs so you have to be a bit careful.
Also, I didn't realize that Home Depot sells them. Not sure where you live but here on the east coast oceanside they don't sell them to my knowledge. Anyways good luck. And also the no pest strip is meant to deter pest from coming in in the first place and not to kill off mites. They do put off a toxicity and in an enclosed room it is probably not a great idea to stay in there long without a respirator. If you get predatory mites, don't use the strips obviously.
Over time the no pest strips will not work effectively as they did in the beginning because mites build up a tolerance to mite deterrants other than predatory mites.

The package on those warns not to use them where you store food... so, I wouldn't use them that late. I had mites during flower a while ago, and I used the iso alcohol/water (50/50) in a spray bottle. I only had the mites showing up on a few leaves here and there - never saw any on the buds luckily. So, I'd spray leaves carefully everytime I saw any sign of them (trying my best not to spray buds). The alcohol makes the spray evaporate very quickly, so I assumed that it wouldn't bring on any mold or anything. It worked out pretty well for me... no mold, and kept them at bay - but didn't totally get rid of them (it only kills the mites, not the eggs).
