nice didnt see the first post, this seriously made my year. The plant in the first pic is seriously the size of my other 5 put together and the other 2 and my 2nd and 3rd biggest and its from some shitty mexi bagseed too

I agree. White pistils should be poking out soon and you will know for sure.

i dont see any balls and i do see what looks like pistils forming so im pretty sure, in a week or 2 you should know for sure.

Come on man, you don't know how to clone for gender determination. Take clones from each, root them and give them 12 hours light and see. Plus, typically, males grow faster and taller than females. and never grow from bag seed. Even if the weed is good the father cold be rope hemp and the seeds can be crap. Start with a known strain from a legit breeder or from clone.

That was not an option this year as I have nowhere to have the seeds mailed, also I am growing outdoors.


My gut just dropped... i just forgot to add but on #1 (big girl) the bottom half pistils are browning and look dead. It could be underwatering, but i doubt it. Plus the plant is not showing any other signs.

Any other explanation for this other than it being a hermie, or someone else nearby has a male that pollinated? (very likely, im in the middle of nowhere with a lot of people that smoke weed). Is it even possible at this point?

It is not possible for it to be hermie at this point. Your plant turns hermie during flowering if at all.

bag seed is fine, its just as easy to find a nice mother from bagseed if u cant get seeds from *breeder strains* and be just as succesful. if you grow it right even the shittiest buds bagseed will be high quality green bud(seedless). the reason the weed is so shitty is cuz whoever grew it sucks, not the genetics(not normally at least).

I agree. Some bagseed can be good and it would be even better if it didn't have seeds in it obviously since that takes away from the potency. Also bag seeds are great to learn new things on or try out new soils, new nutes and etc.... Once you know they work then you can use what you have learned on some paid for beans. Why experiment on some beans that cost so much?

that is 100% true just like what i did and now im growing crystals and for anyone that dont know that strain is white widow and northern lights

My plants have the exact same thing. haha.
I kinda suspected they were preflowers but I wasn't
sure.

Does anyone know why the preflowers burn like that?
The ones on the plants I'm helping my friend with

have burnt preflowers also.
