Look at my girl and comment! +REP (Great Pictures)

Just one of the 2700k CFL's alone is 68w, equivilent to 300w, and produces 4500 lumens. I have 3 of those

There are also two 2700k CFL's that are 27w

I also am using two 6500k CFL's to give a little light of the other spectrum.

It all was vice versa during veg

Veg: Lot's of 6500k light, little bit of 2700k light

Flower: Lot's of 2700k light, little bit of 6500k light

Someone told me that the full spectrum is better than just one spectrum.

I was looking at cfl's in the store the other day, and I saw some 2500k and 2600k. would those work better for flowering than 2700k? and same with cfl's over 6500k cuz I saw some of those too.
thanks

Ok, as long as I'm not hurting anything...
You wanted to go au natural. If the most you are using is molassas...you are definitely on that natural route.
While using the molassas, you are giving it iron, magnesium and calcium....all of which the plant NEEDS.
I don't know how I feel about giving it throughout the entire grow. I don't know...seems like it would attract ants???
As for the "flush".....consider yourself flushing throughout your entire grow. You are using no chemicals, no nutrients....you don't have anything "to" flush.

I use it religiously and never had an issue with ants.
I think there is also beneficial microbes/bacteria in the molasses that help in the roots on top of the supplements which is suppose to be the most beneficial point in using molasses.

True as that is Camel, I've also heard that when used that often it clogs up your soil...and I find that easy to believe. We all have our different preferences....and I like the molassas, but choose to use it only in the last few weeks--at most.
In short, no...it won't kill your plant, LOL.

I have no idea. The only way to find out is to try them... I'd probably just stay in the 2700k and 6500k area

People are telling me to wait a lot longer than I have expected... Looks like I might be waiting longer than 9 weeks to finish this girl. These pics are from 7-17-09. I'll post some new pics sometime soon...
It is day 38 of flowering today.

man your shit is killing my plant and mine is 33 days from12/12 and 14 days since sex showed

Awesome!! From what everyone has been saying, the the addition of the molasses should make the plant very happy. Personally, I will only add the molasses around the end of my flowering cycle for any plants that I grow... I thought that I needed to flush the soil because it has a little N-P-K in it... Guess not.

I have realized that I like growing without nutes... Probably won't do it again, but it takes the guess work and trial & error out of the grow. However, I know using nutes makes the plant 50% - 75% bigger and waaaay better looking.

You are right about the microbes / bacteria helping the roots! I hope I can see huge growth in the next week or so... There are a lot of orange hairs now. Probably about 15% pf the plant has orange hairs in random places.

It looks like your plant is a more sativa strain than indica. Sativas usually take a little longer to finish flowering and get way taller than indica plants. Your plant looks pretty healthy though! Just keep waiting because every grow is different. Your plant could explode in growth in the next few weeks... Did you say you were using nutes, or growing just like mine? I just started adding molasses in the watering cycle for the last few weeks of flowering.

My plant is def. an indica strain, although I have no idea which one it is.

Cool, cool... Even though my plant is nute free, I feel that she is looking lovely! Today is day 42 of Flowering. However, on my next grow, I will use nutes the whole way through.

Here are some pictures that were taken today. Day 42 of flowering

She is looking swell!! Hope the molasses helps her blow up in the next couple of weeks!!

It couldn't be nute burn. The soil only has an N-P-K of .07 - .01 - .03

It's most likely a nitrogen dif, if anything. It's pretty much been doing that very slowly since the beginning of flower

yeah youve got an N def also. the yellowing of the leaves is a nitrogen def. but thats not as important right now. the time release nutrient mix thats in the soil you purchased is burning your plant up. nutrient burn is very distictive to burnt and curling leaf tips. if you dont look into it and let it progress things can get bad:joint:
