i recently have built a 4' x 5' x 7' tall grow room and am looking for a good strain for a 1st time grower and what seed banks are safe for shipment to the US (considering the Elite shit going on) Looking for a strain with moderate to high harvest since i plan on only having 4-6 plants depending on there size. I was also thinking of a pretty good quality plant for a mother purpose and cloning in the future. Any help from seasoned vets would be appreciated.

I dont know about that.I would say ak 47 or white widow both were my beginning strains and i still got cuttings of both.I just love the taste of widow and ak.

Thanks yall......like i said this will be my first grow and i will be posting pics to share. been doing alot of research about cloning and would like to start a strain with about 5 plants and after flowering choose the best bitch to clone to use as a mother. is it even possible to clone a plant once it has flowered.

yea but how long into flowering until you cant? cause why would you clone a stem with bud growing, you would have to throw it back into veg for rooting right.

I find it best to take a clone from every plant in veg, I usually top once or twice so I let the single cola seedling grow out a bit and make my first top my clone mother. Toss the males and the females that don't produce well.

The simplest cloner is a Bubbler - just a 3 gallon black bucket and lid; 2" drill saw holes; 2" mesh baskets and neopreen collars; the largest aquarium air pump your Wallmart has, airstones, tubing, thermometer, 50w aquarium heater. Shallowist learning curve, with a little practice you'll be cloning near 100% sucess, usually 7 to 14 days for a rooted clone.

Cloning during flower is a royal pain in the ass, be sure to leave some bud on the cutting. The big problem is that you need pulpy branches to root easy, once the bracnh is old and woody it's a bitch to get roots.

Root Cloning
A neat way to clone in flower, or after you chopped the plant and find that you should have kept a clone:
dig your hand down the side of the bucket taking out the top, non-rooty medium. Put aside to repot if flowering, toss if harvested.
Dig until you get a good handful of roots, toss 4 or 5 handfuls of rooty medium in a black bucket - clump up in a lump but not packed down. Airy. Add some good water if the lump is dry - you want regular wetness, holds together when squeezed but no water drips.
Get several black garbage bags, or black out plastic and cover the root lump so no light can get in and no moisture gets out. Put a lid on the bucket.
Wait several weeks, or so, and you will find that the root pieces have grown embyonic leaves and you have hundreds of clones. The clones will be seedlings but be sexually mature at the same time.
And that's all I've got to say about that.

Ive seen alot of people take clones from flowering plants until its cut down.Yeah it will have a bud on it but u can reveg it and new shoots will come out.

I am going to piggy back on bigbud.......Skunk in pretty much any form is a great smoke and easy to grow. They actually boast "easier to grow than to smoke" Afghani or Big Bud or Blueberry.
