bro i agree with you about these girls have high chance of not doing good in flower but i wont have anything ready for the cab for awhile so even if i get zero i can watch and learn, there are new shoots where i trimmed and new white roots as well, i think hygrozyme has helped alot. does anybody have advice on training or pruning? im totally out room, i was going to put a chickin wire shelf to try to keep them under, will that work when they streach? ive brought the tds up from no nutes to around 600, any advice?

Cut that bitch all up to make her fit since you put her back in Veg. I would cut off all the bad looking growith and make room for the light to get to newer growth.

I don't disagree with you and if it's bouncing back that's a really good sign.

Yeah that's root rot, The same thing happened to me. It sucks man.

See this is my late 3rd attempt.

I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I was too late.

The roots were mushy and brown. I didn't even think to look at the roots.

Live and Learn. :cry:bongsmilie:eyesmoke::bigjoint:

I am actually in the process of putting together a rez chiller.

My rez temps usually sit around 74 ish. Getting it down can be a bitch in warmer weather.

In the mean time, I have my own little super cold water bottle.

Salt + Water + freezer = super cold.

That water is below freezing and still liquid thanks to the salt.

I am. I want to see how they've recovered after week 1. It's been about a week right? The more you follow closely the better. Now I'll have another one with this much root damage and I can evaluate whether or not it worked out beneficial for you. That way I've seen it 10 times I could say 3 out 10 times recovering from this worked out or whatever.

I always enjoy the experience.

These pics are from 7 days after I got back and put water in the res. I took 1 of the crippled plants out (should've took out 2 more). I know it was against sound advice, but I put them back on 12/12 3 nights ago. My roots are still brown, but have a lot of new white growth. I'm sure I'll battle brown roots to the end of this grow, but with the improvements to my cab. I'm hoping to keep them white next time. Thanks for the interest.

I'm glad they are recovering. I would've just given them a couple of weeks to really fully recover to have a good chance at a stress free flowering period.

do you have any advice on what to look out for as far as hermies? what are trouble signs thru flowering? are there things i need to look for to help this? i have basically zero gardening experience so even basic stuff is helpful, i wasnt disregarding your advice on waiting a little to let em stabilize, but with my plans i just want to push em thru and try to really do it right start to finish. im dying to grow some white russian or ice next.

I hear ya. If you've got things vegging already you've got to keep the timing. I've got a veg room right now with 14 plants and I'm waiting on 8 to flower. If anything delays their flowering I'm going to be up a creek.

After the buds start to form you just have to watch for "nanners" they look like little banana's and they are full of pollen. When you see them, just pluck'em off. Once you start to see them they generally start growing pretty fast.

Hopefully it won't happen to you, but just keep a watchful eye later on in flowering.

Thank you for the tip, it's so crowded in my cab. It'll be a challenge to keep a close eye on all of the plant. I envy people with room to grow...lol. This is pretty exciting for me and it's hard to not look at them 10 times a day. I'll keep my eyes out for male flowers. Have you used any products to help with this problem?

For the very first time I am using Dutch Masters "Reverse".

I'm using it because there's a thread where someone used Dutch Masters Reverse and got a lot less hermies off of their feminized seeds when it was used very early in flowering instead of waiting to actually get hermies to use it.

So, because I'm growing feminized seeds I decided to try it. His thread was very informative and well executed. He tried same strains with and without the reverse in the same grow areas, tried applications and different times and posted all of the results. Proved the product did to the job when used early enough.

Thanks for the info bro. I just ordered some with 2 day air shipping. I know flipping the timer back and forth was bad news but I was in a bind. I appreciate the advice. Anytime you want updated pics, let me know, be glad to do it.
