those things that reflect the sun out of your car

emergency blankets

and reflective wraping paper

are all coated in mylar at least, and cost less than $5 at walmart

lol..thanks to the both of you guys. im gonna need it through out the whole grow lol.. and i guess when im out looking for the 23w tommorow im gonna have to pick up some mylar too i guess huh? lol im using foil too..does it work at all? myler just better in general or what?

mylar is safer, and better. I just used foil because of my budget (not knowing of cheap substitutes) it works but not well, and can put hot spots on your plant. Im probably gonna look for mylar coated wrapping paper. thanks for the help...AND GET A TIMER, you should always be one step ahead

Are you monitoring it? I went back and looked, maybe Im stoned I dont know, but I diddnt see where you mentioned it.

Proper Ph is crucial to success

I havent been monitering my PH dueto insufficient funds ... im broke and i have a few other things higher on my list to make my setup better. I will try to get to it soon, but do you think it is bad now?

alright, how much do ph metersgo for anyway...just like a standard one

I use a cheap chemical test solution. Its only a few dollars, and it doesnt require calibrating like ph pens.

Its very cheap, very accurate, everytime

not yet, but used distilled water this time, figured that would be a good pH...also i got my room down to 76F wit the lights on, cant wait to see what it goesto once i move it away from the referigerater (makes heat) and ill have a bigger space to work with... i hope i topped them right ill have pics up within like 30 mins

That means you still dont know the ph of your water. Just because its distilled doesnt mean the ph is right.

Your ph could be anything 5.2 - 8.7

And you've wasted your money.

The ph solution kit I posted only costs a few $$$

1 gallon of distilled water costs $1.

So after a few gallons of water you could have bought a ph kit!!!! Then use tap water from your house.
