Neighbors lights fucking up the schedule?

My neighbor's backyard has a patio section with this light set up. The lights are pretty dim and there's a fence between our houses but they don't go off until 2:00 AM and I was wondering if the lights would be enough to throw my plants back into veg when they start to flower?

you always want total darkness during flower. i've heard stories of people's plants turnin hermie due to light penetration, however i've never had it happen to me because i'm very careful about light getting into garden. if i were you, i'd do my very best to keep any of that light off the plants. whether that means moving plants, or shooting out your neighbors light bulbs... :)

Amen, been growing outside for over 40 years, always amazes me these people saying that a fashlight or security light ruined my grow. I am not saying put them under a street lamp but here on a full moon you can see a persons face at 50 feet, half moon is pretty damn bright itself. I posted a thread posing basically the same question of indoor growers but no one bothered to post. Its a weed programed to reproduce period.

Because a full moon really only produces a few lumens, twice the lumens a full moon can give is enough to interupt the flowering cycle. That is why we flower under full moons, and why people want a sealed room

and how many nites are there with a full moon???? his neighbor's lite is on every nite!

If you think about it logically, the light from the moon is actually reflected sunlight. Lights from your neighbors house are probably halogen floodlights and don't resemble the sun's rays at all.

It does seem that, using logic, the moon would be a bigger worry than the neighbor's halogen floods. We all know you can't really grow cannabis under a halogen light, which would lead one to believe that halogen lights emit very little light that the plants can "see". You can, however, grow cannabis under the sun...

That's not necessarily how it works...you don't grow under halogens because they are extremely ineffecient and hot, not because the plant's don't "see" the light.

It will bud just fine. I worried about this years ago but not now more.

I grew plants in derect light of a street lamp with no problems. Also my patio light going on and off within 10 feet of the plant with no problems.
