i understand that but that not my grow that somone using the same light as my old one. besides so he add a cfl he is still saving money on power and heat. compared to a 400w hps. plus not runing any duct work.

How much are you yielding in terms of grams per watt?my leds always work great for me. i am using 90w tri ban right now, i like leds so much i just bought a 180w 5 ban with info red/far red spec in it. leds are somthing you have to be carful with you get on bad company and you will pay for it on yeild. i have friends that chose the wrong company and wasted lots of monye. i guess i got lucky when choshing my company lol, they work like a charm for me. here are some videos of my led grow lights that i use.

their only one way to find out? he post new videos on youtube every week he is three week into flowering now, i will post the video every week. go ahead and post your best grow pic. and states what kind of light you use and we will do the test. sound good?

i get about 2 onces dry per plant with my 90w. i have some mess up clones whith those yeild. i dont know what i will get with this grow right now they look healty but are dealing with high temps 95-100F* = they are sativas, never grew sativas befor.
what about you grams per watt? what kind of light are you using?

om i am having heat trobles because it summer time and it 110F* out side over here. 2 oz a plant form 90w is shitty? show me a 90w hid light do better? where your pics at. how much u get per plant? i am still waitng for ur pics???????? total yeild per watt???????? watts used???????

in a 4x4 tent with 1000w HPS doing SOG I'm averaging about a pound. That comes out to .456 grams per watt.
If you are getting 2 ounces with a 90watt LED then you're getting .633 grams per watt.
Your UFO appears to be out preforming my HPS.
I have just ordered an enhanced 5 spectrum 350watt LED and I'll be putting it to the test against my HPS for my next grow. I'll be doing a 4x8 table one side being lit by the LED and the other side being lit by 1000w horilux HPS with a magnum XXL hood. All plants will be the same strain and recive the same nutrients. The test will be to see not only how the HPS preforms against the LED but how they preform in combonation with each other in the middle of the trey.
My only interest in this test is to see the most cost effective way to produce quality stuff. Since electricity is the biggest long term cost grams per watt is important. I expect to get less over all yeild from the LED but still more grams per watt. If this happens I will consider it a success.

i realy couldnt tell you i only now about the one i use. its real tricky looking for a good company. their a real since to it. the reason why i went with my company is because they offer a full 90day trail of their light and no other company offerd that, to i thought why would they let me test it out for 90days if they were junk? i wish i would have took pics of my old grow they were nice. but i just order their new 180w 5-ban ufo with infored/far waiting for it to come in the mail cant wait, going to put it on my plant i have going right now then ill do a full 180w led grow after that.

50,000 hours these are the leds i use and they work great for me, + they have the newst lights with a 5-ban spec and info red/ far red.

i was thinking the same thing, he might be trying to get a winder foot print? i found when i tested my light the best range for 4 plants was 12-15 inches high.
