Looks like I got some much needed rain. Whoo hoo!!! The only problem is now I need to respray everything. So I mixed up two gallons of spinosad to do it but the chance of rain is still pretty high. Another day or two of this rain is a blessing for the ground moisture and makes for less watering but those moths and butterflies are loving it. I'll use these 2 gal of spinosad on the next spraying and then mix up some Safer Caterpiller Killer. It's a little extra work but good insurance during this wet spell.
I've started seeing enough flowering development that I've decided to begin molasses feeding with the nutes. I've got two different ones that I'm going to use simultaneously. The gallon jug of horticulture molasses I found at Lowe's and good old grandma's pure molasses in the jar. I'm completely sold on using molasses if you couldn't tell. I just love how the buds get that heavy thick sticky sweet charm. Delicious
Thanks tat, I moved the cam around to check another area so check back and see what turns up.Sweet journal slab...Those cams are smokin Love all the pics bro, keep it up.
I'd like to try it but the $$$cha ching part of it is pretty steep. You forget that I'm a cheap bastard I'm gonna use Superthrive with my molasses and 1/2 strength mg for now. If I ever run across that fox farm stuff I might try it.dude you know what product i can sa made a difference. I have grow with it and with out.. and i tell ya .. cha ching by foxfarm is the SHit! i use both of course.
North Central Texas? NO WAY!!! Where do you live? I might have friends over that way. Shoot me your gps coordinates and I'll check.Nice looking grow... North Central Texas, am I right? Pretty close to me by the looks of it.
Hey c, yes I love my rock&roll almost as much as my bud. You might say they're both lifetime commitments. Most of the indica crosses have started flowering pretty good but there are some pure sativas that have only showed preflowers. They are SOOOO slow. I had one go to late Oct last year.WOOOHOOO!! Looks good slabhead!
The first couple of pics looks like they are starting to flower. They all look extremely happy.
Judging by the vids you have been putting up, I have a feeling we'd get along real good! TOOL ROCKS!!! My favorite song is probably Sober.
Thanks for the kiddie bud porn!!
Nice grow going on there Slab. I agree the first ones look as though they are begining the flower dance. My sativas are also starting to start shortening up the nodal division preparing for flower but they are also still growing. How much of that molassas do you put in a gal of water? Keep up the good workHey c, yes I love my rock&roll almost as much as my bud. You might say they're both lifetime commitments. Glad you enjoyed the porn.
Yeah thx gt, I usually use one tablespoon per gallon. 5 per bucket. So with the Medina horticultural molasses I'm gonna do the same, so it will be 5 tablespoons of Grandma's and 5 tablespoons of the Medina per 5 gallon bucket. I want those slabs super sticky this year. HHhmmmm mmmmNice grow going on there Slab. I agree the first ones look as though they are begining the flower dance. cool?Damn Slabhead, I had no idea you were this cool.
Dont get me wrong, Ive always liked your style, but DAMN!!! Nice journal!!!
We've chatted a few times on other threads but I never checked your sig.... until now. consider me subscribed
I don't guess it's special. It's more crude actually not thick and viscous like the Grandma's. It has more of the beneficial microbes and raw sugars.Well it's a good thing all that hard work pays off so sweetly!! Keep it up!
Is there something special about the horticulture molasses? Just curious, I didn't know they had it out there.
g'morn riz, yeah thx man. That sativa is some more bagseed but sure was some heady smoke. Typical sativa really sociable with a uplifting high. The closest strain I can find that looks like an afropips nigerian or the like. Haha, just old mexi but the buds were really dense with just a few seeds. This strain has the most slender leaflets I've ever grown. I was almost afraid it was some ditchweed by the looks of it growing until I think about the heady buds it comes from. A pure sativa I believe. hmmmYour girls are sure lookin choice there Slab!! Nice and green and healthy! I hope you end up bein able to finish those sativas off also. What strain are they? And how do you like that sprayer? I need to pick me up one of those for sure!! Don't know why the bugs gotta pick our shit to start chompin on. What the fuck did they eat before our plants were in the ground? The buffett is closed assholes!!!!!
Keep up the good grow bro!!
Thanks for the paranoia genfranco. But the only thing I leave behind is CO2. I don't even leave footprints and I pack my shit in and out every trip. Yep, it's a lot of extra trouble but I'm in a flyover zone so I don't take any chances. And trails are everywhere here. The coyotes, wild pigs, cows, and critters have trails everywhere. Literally impossible to follow any one trail ya know And thanks for turning me on to the supercropping, the signature profile is almost completely gone. Looks more like ragweed or brambles than ganga.whatup man... love your escapades. I sure hope you dont leave all that shit there... have you ever seen the "how not to get busted" videos? they can spot anything that is not part of the fauna real easy from the air... he shows you on the vid how easy it is to see from up there....anyway man.. just being paranoid for you...LOL
