So it is American custom to hold your right hand over your heart during a rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" AKA the national anthem, now I can certainly see plenty of American Citizens that don't adhere to this custom, but its pretty much mandatory for the Government Employee to do so, why Is Barack not holding his hand over his heart? Is he "better" than the rest of us? Does he even understand he is supposed to do that? Or does he know he is supposed to and just doesn't give a shit about the USA?

Ok you got me...I think christianity is really silly and has been and continues to be, more harmful than the false hope that it provides. I absolutely do not hate christians. I have been one before.
So as we keep this on a level plain, while I am bashing others beliefs, you are accusing others of not being as christian as you are and claiming that they are evil or somehow connected with "satan"...and then you come and try to play this crap.
I am not hiding, I am attempting to alleviate the possible hurt feelings of a sensitive "believer" to whom which such things should matter none....but whatever.
I have no issue with any religion, any law, any lifestyle or Ideal, so long as it does not effect the life, liberty or freedoms of another.
Unfortunately this seems to run absolutely counter to the Neo-Con fake ass christian zealots that dominate the sound bites...you know the kind...the mega church pastor who speaks out against homosexual until his gay regular prostitute/meth buddy shows up...Or the angelic megachurch beauty queen who thinks god is against gay marriage, but is all for getting fake boobs to win a beauty contest. Or the loving christians who have managed to make Iowa a more progressive and liberal state than california by denying marriage to gays and lesbians, trying to use the bible to cover up their agenda of intolerance, or to suggest dinosaurs walked with man, and single handedly made the 7th and 8th definition of the word "theory" the one commonly used and understood. Turned 9th grade biology classes into bible discussions and hoped 8 years of abstinence only education would keep kids from having unprotected sex, so long as they put a ring on their finger like mommy did 4 times already as a promise, and prayed really hard.
The problem with religious people minding their own business is the same as the tobacco companies. If new converts are not obtained, revenues cannot be sustained as the addicted succumb to the ultimate truth.
You can not even sneeze without there being some expectation of a celestial blessing to save one from the demons within...like the almighty has time for the common man with the common cold. and as if the sneeze was not a distraction enough as it is...now 4 or 5 people must proclaim their faith rather than letting it go or a simple ¡Salud! for those of us south of the 48th parallel.
