cfl lighting help?

I am starting to grow in a 3'x5'x1' cupboard. I am planning on using the little 25w twisted cfl bulbs, how many do you need for 3-4 plants. Also, i am not sure about what to cover the walls with. I have heard that tin foil works best and the same for white paint.

is it safe to use a CFL through all stages of growth in the plant? can it be done or with the plant turn out with shitty bud:confused:

im starting a cfl grow right now,there in ealy veg stage,shit they look good right now.some ppl would advise against it,but ive seen some good cfl grows on here.if thats all you can afford nd your not doing it for profit what do you have to lose?

I personally would not use tinfoil - try just painting the interior of the cupboards white, or using some of that nice pvc tarp stuff that is white on one side and black on the other. I've heard good things about that

i couldnt find mylar,so i was digging threw some boxes and found some brand new ballons we had left over from my daughters birthday party so i cut them up nicey and taped thm up nicely,i knew i saved them for a reason,lol...

im on my second cfl grow and i like it. although now i have 16 bulbs going, the first one i had 8. i use blue spectrum for veg and then change 2 bulbs to red spectrum every two days till there all changed. these are at 17 days from seed, they are doubled in size now. i will get u a pic when i sober up
