Had a talk with the parents just now, need advice.

Okay, I live in the back house on my parents property. My mom already knows I smoke, she smokes to and Is cool with me growing and smoking. So my main goal was to advice my dad that I am a legal patient and will be growing in the back house.(I can easily grow without his knowledge since I live in the back, but I asked him out of respect.)


So, I show my dad my papers and he's like WTF is this? I tell him that It's perfectly legal and harmless, he tried to walk away but my mom told him not to. He then proceeded to say that drugs are bad and people die from it. I called him a drunk just because he was not taking me serious and tried to keep walking away. Basically he didn't want to talk like adults and just walked away. My mom is backing me all the way, should I still start my grow?

Hey first thing I learned in sales is wimmen control 99% of the money and 100% of the other stuff men requires. I say if Mom said Ok it's a done deal. Get a few scotches down Daddy one pleasant evening and yall twist one up. He would like it. Just get him to test it out for scientifical experimentation purposes. Yeah, I'm sure he's talking with my mom right now. But she is all for the medical movement and I know she will do her best to educate him. I am just pissed as hell, my dad was a drunk most of his life and now he thinks he knows how to make responsible decisions. I'm in college, my mom has a p.h.d, and my dad doesn't even have a GED, who's the fucken responsible one. The closest thing he has to a certificate are his two release forms from jail after his DUI's.

This is exactly why I'm not telling my parents I grow. Honestly I love them but it's not their business. Just a few more harvests and I'll have bud for life. They'll never know either. Unless of course someone on this site snitches. What are the chances of that happenig though? 1 in a billion.

i think if ur mom is legit 100% behind u go for it. My dad is hard headed as well but my mom knows i smoke and she is fine with it. As along as one parent is behind u your fine. Sounds like your mom is the money provider as well so, kinda of what she says goes.

Yeah my mom is the number one provider, but my dad also owns his own company and makes a descent living. I even smoke with my mom so I know she is 100% behind me. Ughh i'm still angry, I think I need to go for a bike ride or something.

Hmmm. Your mom is ok but your dad is not.
You stated your dad thinks drugs kill people and you stated you called him a drunk because he didn't want to talk.

Just maybe your dad has a drinking problem (thats his drug) and it has caused him problems and he is trying to protect you from making mistakes he has made by the blanket statement of drugs kill?

Give that man the benefit of a doubt and try and talk to him instead of ignoring him. I am an alcoholic and I don't want my kids to drink because I can't stop, so I see that happening to them. Maybe he has something he his hiding and wants to protect you but doesn't know how to talk about it.

Respect your parents and talk to them both together. You can always be your own man somewhere else, but stay good with your parents. Later on down the road if you get into some kind of bind for what ever down the road, your parents may be all you have to help you.
