3 of my 10 plants (the biggest ones too, might i add) showed me their balls within the last week.

Sorta discouraging...so I was wondering, do males general show sex first and are they generally taller than females?

generally yes on both ? i believe, but give it another week if not sure

typically males are the fastest growing fullest plants and show first

ditto! at this stage, they should have all reared their useless heads!
