What can I do, it doesnt seal for shit and there is a 2 inch gap unless you stand there holding it.

Im including pics. I was thinking of getting latches and putting like 4 across the top and 4 down the side, except i dont know if they make latches that latch across a corner.

God this sucks I spent 30 bucks and im gonna be screwed out of this money..

:cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss:

All help is appreciated.

I was thinking of using weather stripping to help fill the gap but I dont think they make 2 inch thick weather stripping LOL

What else could I use to keep it sealed?

get yourself a couple 2x4 and braes the back, or front, of it. Kinda like a barn door. Around the outer edges and a cross support. Youll be good to go.

use the lock latches, for a padlock, and just stick a peice off wood in place of the lock.
I would but the wood covers the outside of the room, it doesnt fit inside like a door would (stupid on my part)

I think what im gonna do its put 2 latches on the top, The kind that flip up and lock, like what is on tool boxes.

Then if i can find 2 that will work around corners I can put 2 on the sides, and weather strip around it. It should seal perfect then. I was testing it by putting pressure on different spots. 10 bucks in latches oh well.

Anyone know where to get like 20 feet of weather stripping cheap. Lowes wants like 8 bucks for 5 feet or some shit

Framing it would cost too much.

Get a straight piece of 1/2" plywood & brace it as recommended earlier.
Screw all that extra hdwe, just do it right once.

just get a pack of those eyebolts, with a hook. mount the eye on the door and hook on the side framing. then just mount it so when you put the hook in the eye bolt, it pulls the door shut. you usually seen these on patio screen doors,

yeah but those dont have the kind of tension im looking for. Im gonna be using 2 of these

Maybe ill do the eye hook for the corners if i cant find something that will latch around corners.

Thanks for the help guys, i kinda panicked for a bit there till i realized i wasnt screwed
