About sweet? Guess you should read the bottle. You can not chnage the tase of natural bud except byt the method its grown but the taste is stil the natural taste just varied from soil to hydro or organic to chemical. Either way thats the buds natural taste. There is no additive that will make a skunk plant taste like banannas or a blueberry plant taste like oranges. If you know one and apparently you do please share your discover with us all.

You can change the flavor of MJ, you just said so yourself.

The nutes make the bud taste like nutes. The water clears out that nute taste and lets the genetic taste come through. This is even more pronounced after the cure and breakdown of the clorophyl.

Now with that in mind....you can use 1 gal water / 1 tablespoon of snowcone flavoring mix for the last 2 weeks of flowering and get that flavor in your bud. I have done it bro...nothing you can say will change the fact that it is possible. Outdoor bagseed grow I experimented on each plant differently, I watered one with 1 table vodka / 1 gal water and it had a more alcohol aroma to the bud.

Saying you can't put something in your soil or resoivoir to change the flavor is so contradicting to your own statement. If that was true, people would not flush there buds to get the nute taste out.

And back on topic.....You can see that Fox Farms has far less liquid fertilizers than most other companies, wanna take a guess why?

Also I like that my FF is so concentrated that it lasts many grows. Yes it is strong and can burn plants quite easily if you don't know what you are doing, but that is all part of the learning process.

mmmmmmmm snow cone buds yummy lol
Yes when you throw some bag seeds in the forest, why not experiment? I wanted to see for myself if flavoring your bud could be done and it can. Amazing how many people on forums like to act like they have done shit from experience when really they just lurk all day.

Well your expirement goes opposite of the other dozen or so people have posted on this site alone last few years. And I think your not understanding what I am saying. you dont change the buds original taste by flushing you get the chemical taste out but havent altered the buds original taste just the fert taste. The expirements done on ere showed alcohol and kool aide. they were able change color with food colring but that was it.. On FF being strong and easy to burn with that is absolutly false.Their nutes are almost impossible to burn plants with and I have yet to see an accidental burn you have to really try to get them to burn your plants.I ll have to see on the snow cone mix as i would think thats close to they 6-7 kool aide studies.

Sativas eat less than Indicas and some strains are very sensitive. My Karma's Jack gals get burnt quite easily from Grow Big. You see anytime there is nitrogen being derived from ammonium nitrate and phosphate being derived from ammonium phosphate (Like in Grow Big), you can easily chemical burn your roots which will lead to burns on your foilage. Chemical fertilizers can cause chemical burns....sorry

On another note I have wondered why on the Tiger Bloom label it says nothing about containing calcium, but under "Derived from" it lists calcium nitrate as the first thing. Anyone know if this means there is some calcium in Tiger Bloom or am I just stupid? I have searched on google about calium nitrate a bit but from what I have found it seems nitrogen is derived from calcium nitrate.

My experiences with fox farm have tought me its very strain sensitive. Some like it, some burn easy from it. You gotta figure it out early and either crank them up or down. If your somebody that does multiple different strains, and switches strains each grow... fox farm may boggle your mind for a little while till you get it down. But great over all products. I also found that its mainly the tiger bloom that plants dislike when it comes to foxfarm, I have had multiple problems with burns only when using tigerbloom. Stoped using it after the last time, this time just going with grow big, big bloom, and solubles and everything is looking amazing.

A friend of mine that goes to a certain U.S. state school majors in horticulture and crop science. This friend also has similar home hobbies, and told me that if you moisten your soil before the feed it will help prevent burns. Dont saturate it as if your watering twice... just give it a splash of fresh water so your not dumping nuetrients right onto very dry roots.

He said they load up nutes like you wouldnt believe on your typical crops as long as you spray down the soil first.

I use AN and will agree it is great, but i burnt the shit out of my first grow and lost at least a couple oz's of yeild from the stress. It was probably my fault though, gotta love that AN big bud :)

Maybe in soil FF can be more sensistive. I grow 4-5 strains at a time in different areas but all aero and hydro. I usually am way above the FF feeing chart ppms like my ppm high point is at 1900 ppm instead of the charts 1750 max. Ive even splashed nute mix on leaves and never got a burn must be lucky I guess. I know dutch master can burn easy and AN burns easy and Flora burns easy.

heh I'm with fletch on this one, ive used tons of different nutes, from GH, botanicare, Fox Farms, Advanced, Dutch master, and Humbolts. I've even done side by side tests.

Out of all of those, i still use botanicare in my one room (cuz i have 10 gallons of bloom), and Fox Farms on the other one. Almsot the exact same size rooms, lighting (3000w of hps). and i still prefer the good ole trusty Fox Farms.

So with my experience with them, they are all great companies. But if you are looking for less problems...... Fox Farms and botanicare PBP.

im an old man, and the easier the better.

yep, i liked foxfarm but that was the only nute i had used so this time i bought botanicare to mix it up. I like them both so far. I dont think i would ever get AN. I like to stay with companies that at least try to stay organic.

yea but they have more natural products in their stuff then AN does. AN prides itself on being a chemical power house.

Humboldt County now offers 2 seperate line of nutes. You have basic organic and then thier power house line up of both synthtic and organic. I will be giving these a test run soon as i use alot of thier additives already so gonna have to try the nute line
