740 watt LED grow DWC

5 purple buddah 1 week into flowering

I also have dinafem and sagarmatha feminized seedlings for the next batch.

for flowering im running 740 watts of leds, in 6 fixtures in a grow tent 8x4x7

im setting up a grow journal the lights are listed over there i didnt know they had a section for that

but yeah 740 actual led watts 6 light fixtures

thats such a rip off, if you wanted to get handy you could buy the 1 watt leds with a resistor built in for 1.00 each and wire them up.

i have another tent same size going to be for veg, i havent set it up yet they are a pain

So with this thread are we establishing that you can get the same results with LEDs as HPS, but only if you spend 4x and have 2x the watts.

its still not the same i use one 600 watt light and would have the same results. does it save on electricity

I'll help you fend off the haters kuz. I've always been very interested in these, I they they are cool technology, I really like the idea, just been waiting for them to tweak and change things till they are mass produced and cheaper. I cant wait to see what can be done with enough of them packed in. I say grats sir, you do you.

i only ever had one harverst prior to this, (250w halide with 2 plants) so nothing to really compare it to, but they seem to be flowering well. i needed to upgrade to either hps or led just took a chance, hopin its good weed.

Which light do you like the most and why?

the supernova is pretty cool cus of the knobs to change the spectrum, and that it has uv and infared, as ive heard are supposed to help with trichomes.
the procyons have a wider output than the ufos but seem to have a lot more blue
maybe i will favor one when the other plants under them mature a little.
