Best part of LED is you don't have to worry about a fire as much, stays cool so no extra a/c and can get them close to the plant as you want. There are many benefits other than best bang for the buck.
strain update - other than the purple buddah and god bud, i have 3 strawberry deisel, 3 moby dick, and 1 either white widow or power kush mixed them up. those are about 3days sprouted.
just started germinating 8 brainwarp and 11 black indica today.
I added botanicare ripe to the god buds and cal mag plus to all of them. the purple buddahs seemed to have nutrient burn on the leaves. anyone have experience with calmag plus?

No, but I have experience with nutrient burn. It's really not so bad, just stunts the plants growth for a short spell, as long as you know what you've done and you scale it back a bit afterward.
tis realy nice that you are growing with LEDs plus they dont use as much electricity
as other and contain a wider light spectrum that your plants love no matter what stage there in
Not that I'm a LED expert... but I like the idea of the techonology advance and read just about anything I see about them. I'm personally interested in getting one or two to veg with (as soon as I hit the loto). I remember reading articles of people that thought they would only be useful for veg originally, with great growth... and then lack luster flowering attempts. Though I think these were earlier stage "ufo" reviews I'm thinking of... and they did not exactly pack them in either. On the other hand.... Your buds are looking ferocious bro
thanks man, the lights seem to be real good for flowering with enough power, the crystals on the bud already... i dont know whats normal as im still new to this, but their pretty frosty
dude all that means is that you should have moved your lights a little further away... of better circulate the air in your room. HID is the way to go as far as lighting is considered. hps has the highest lumen per watt ratio so you actually save on your electricity when you think about how much more light your getting for the money
