Cool white or soft white???

does it matter if i get cool white or soft white cfl bulbs i just bought soft white i hope thats what i need im setting up my clones lol

No you need to go back to the store and return them. Plants for vegetation like daylight bulbs. It gives off a frost blue color. Cool whites are not really needed. The soft whites help in the flowering process.

see the thing is i have a 4 foot floresant light on them now but i dont think that's enogh light for 16 clones so i want to add the cfl's i only use HID light's so this is new to me ya know

Dude you need 6500k daylight bulbs. Not cool white not warm white not night lights you need DAY LIGHT. sorry for being a dick but i have learned when you repeat things people get them stuck in their head. good luck

actaly i have used cool white, and warm white 2 veg on many grows , flowered with 400w hps with banging results

p.s i only veg with 72watts of cfl, 2 18w warm white, 2 18w cool white. amen

Nah but for real bigbudxnorthern you would have gotten better results in my opinion if you used daylight. Its more on the blue spectrum. Cool whites are decent but anything below 5500k in my opinion is a waste of time. Plants dont even use that light. But what do I know im not a scientist i just love weed

i have always used low watt to vegg cool white and warm white with big yeilds, bigger than a lot on here, these in the pic were also vegged with low watt do these look like they need improvement?????

ya see like i said i use all mh/hps HID light's im just looking to add a little xtra to my clones but the HID's are the way to go

let me tell u now, u dont need massive light output to veg, yes u will get the growth a bit quicker but its not all that!!!!

during flower is when the light counts most in my own opinion!!!!!

i flowered bigbud in my last grow, 2 plants = 14 oz dry, that was vegged with 72w cfl and flowered with 400w hps in a space of 1m square. peace
