CPH's first grow journal

All I use is FF, the whole line up. You have to try and make everything as close to optimal as you can/afford. I know it's hard to get started but you must be dilegent in the garden. No more lights leaks, no going 12/12 with Non Mature Plants, slow down on ferts, and never let them go dry.

Thanks for the input!! Insightful as always!!

The buds that came down the other night were ready to get put in the jar. They taste real sweet!! Burns nice and smooth, I couldn't be happier with it. It ended up just a few grams shy of 3/4 oz, and almost filled a quart jar.:weed:

Wow that sounds nice. I read in High Times about a study done on cured herb and how to store it, well 41 degrees and 100%dark for one year and only 4% thc loss.
 
Interesting... You would need to keep them in a fridge to maintain the temps, but that would be cool. Instead of grabbing beers I'd be grabbing jars of herb!!!

Yeah it told about the temp swing the other way and how they lost 15% -20% ? thc or something.
I have a personal fridge in Garage, I will be setting the temp to 41 and puttin a lock on it. I hope to put away a lb. Then when the clones from those in 12/12 get harvested and cured I will rotate. But I am keeping one O of each strain I grow from now to next years 420. I hope to have 8-10 different strains by then. LSD and Red Dragon is my next grow I think (after clones).

Sounds about perfect!! I've heard very good things about both those new strains. I've been trying to decide what strains to go with when I'm ready. Wich might end up being sooner than later.

What do you prefer to grow indica, sativa, or hybrid?

I've been leaning towards indica dominate hybrids. For a few reason, shorter flower period, meaning a quicker turn over. Shorter plants, I've got 7' but you never know. Also because I've read that indica is better for the body buzz and pain relief.:peace:
 
I prefer indica hybrids in the winter and Sativas in the spring to fall.
I like couch lock on a rainy day. Turn on some Godfather 2 and toke toke.
Spring-fall I like to stay busy and keep moving, so thats why I prefer some good Sativa, but the draw back is heigth. you gotta run one or the other.
I have my diesel, she is 3'6" as of last friday, and the others (indica dominats) are all up on booster seats to even out the canopy. My ceiling heigth is 9 feet, but you have to have a filter and inline so that brings it down to 7' then keeping plants away from light, well I would say 6' is max.

These girls just won't quit!!! They are getting new growth still. I couldn't stand them looking so sad, so I gave them a 1/2 dose of nutes with there water tonight. With them still growing like they are I figured it couldn't hurt. They got flushed 2 weeks ago. Next time I plan to use molasses. I still need to get a magnifine glass so I will be using https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/210501-zeuss-take-harvesting.html as my guide.

101 days, 14-1/2 weeks however you look at it it's a long time. She seems to be slowing down, about 90% dark hairs now. Another week, maybe?

Hey, my first batch of smoke was the seeded bud that these seeds are from. It was still hella good weed! Not at all like the seeded shit that you would buy.
 
I'm thinking that the seeds on the one plant thats still all girl should be feminized right? I was going to save some from all but thought those might be another bonus!!
 
They will be, but I think because it is self-pollinated there may be more of a tendency to be hermaphrodite. But, don't take me seriously. I have no proof for that statement.

I was thinking with the one that isn't hermie didn't self pollinate, but was pollinated by all the others. So my thinking is I could have seeds that would have different genetics, and give me a nice range of traits. Or they could all just change on me like these did!

Thanks for stopping slab!! I'm trying to be patient. I'll have plenty seeds by the look of things.

I'm thinking about starting some selective harvest. By getting a few of the branches that are looking ready maybe the tops will get just a little fatter before it's done..:peace:
