Temperature Control

I tripped across an outlet which turns on at 78 and back off at 70. I was thinking to hook up the exhaust fan to this. As long as you have an oscillating fan in there as well, should this work? The only down side I can think of is you won't be drawing in any fresh air. Any thoughts?

The reason for doing so, is I'll have to heat the room. So running the fan, especially when the lights are on, will suck heat out of the room. I'm hoping to use the light's on time to help with heating. The room is about 4'x5'x7.5h running a 600W HPS.

Oh ya.. Hi to everyone. It's the wealth of information places like this hold that have given me the spark I needed to see if I have a green thumb or not. Thanks all!!

Sounds like it will work. You don't have to have fresh air 100% of the time.

Thanks!! I was just worried about not having enough fresh air. Now that you mention it, I could just run a small muffin fan to draw in some fresh air. Being my first grow, I'm trying to figure out the best ways to maintain heat and humidity. Just need to pick up a few more things and it's go time! I'm hoping to start in about a month... after I'm back from vacation.
