i am nearing the end of 12/12
strain=bigbud/northenlights
my question is the bud has changed shape as the cylaxes have swollen so much, 70% of pistils r brown but suddenly i have had a spurt of new growth, being new pistils.
just wondering why the plant does this, is it a last ditch effort for the plant to be able to catch male pollen as it knows its coming to the end of its cycle???
plants typically do that to replace some of the pistils that have fallen off and as well as to try and breed of course . its normal

basically i made this post already knowing the answer being very board and very stoned, i knew the answer but i wanted to have other input their thaughts, just board and started a thread to pass time, and look at the mess its got me into.

What do you expect when you put +rep in the title? All you get are post count and rep whores. Its a sign that children are taking over the site. Who gives a rats ass about rep. It used to be a good indicator of ppl that know their shit. Now almost every other thread contains a sad pathetic attempt to draw in views. but yea, ive seen people let 60 day strains go on for 80 days, waiting for the shit to stop pushing new hairs out! lol. -not me.

oh i dont know, i myself really enjoyed this thread. -made me laugh... everyones like... no mate, you suck mate, and i have been growing for 70 years out of a shoebox with a flashlight in it, and i get three pounds per plant every 5 days. haha. well ive been growing for 90 years and my plants get you soo stoned that you die! lol.
the hairs are new growth, it does this because thats how the cannabis plant grows... its that simple. it's not a ripe or not ripe kinda deal.
