Well get some cfls and a couple grow lights all in all id say a good cheap set up is under a 100 bucks, i know you said your fairly broke, but if you want them to live you gotta spend a bit to get them ripe. I used some styrofoam sheets to enclose my area, i have them on a shelf.And its working grand

look for a shop called the kit bag shop you can get the full set up for 300 pound.This is for a xl.grow tent 600 hps exstrator fan.But you can buy a smaller unit for alot cheeper on this site.
