Hello All. I wish I knew about CFBs when I started my first grow back in June. Instead I learned the hard way by using an 1000w HPS in a 1 1/2 by 4 closet with no glass in the reflector. Yes, I burned my Strawberry Coughs to death and my lone Querkle barely survived. That's when I did some research, switched to a 2 X 8 foot closet, got the glass, exhaust and BAMM, I was growing.
So, now that I'm starting my second grow, I've been using the CFBs on the new clones while the 1st crop is in its last flowering stages and then they're put on the perimeter of the flowering area when the flowers are working under the light. The clones have grown aggressively.
My question to you is, are you going to continue with the CFBs during Flowering. The reason i'm asking is I've seen some journals where they've had some success with that plan of attack. I mean, the cost of running 9 amps for the light and then having to keep the exhaust running all of the time...if the CFBs can really do the trick, I would like to give it a shot. After all, I'm just here for personal medication, not yielding for profit.
Let me know and Good Luck. Thx
