hello this is my second post. i havent been able to solve the problem , it has been 2 weeks now, im starting to get a bit worried my plant may not recover,

the leaves are all droopy as you can see in the pictures, there are a few tiny brown spots on some leaves , but not alot.
i thought i might be overwatering it so i let it dry out for a week before i watered it again , then left it for 9 days before the watering after that.i did water it everyday, until this started happening then iv started letting the soil dry out before i water it again,as i have been told you should let the soil dry out before watering . should i put it in a smaller pot? so the soil drys quicker. i have a six inch extractor fan on the top of the cupboard i have it in, with a small 6 inch fan blowing onto the plant. the temp in there never goes over 85, usualy about 80. the nutrients am using have a NPK of 3-1-6. also it has x2 10,000 lumen tubes at the sides and a 50w metal halide bulb above, have a 600w hps that im going to use, but i had to send the ballast back as it did not work, still waiting on the new one, so i have not got alot of alterative lighting options. it was last watered 2 days ago, but the soil is still very damp. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hmm definately looks like over/under watering, leaves will also droop when the plant has been under watered. For a plant that size in that pot I'd water it about every 2-3 days. It could also be your light source, maybe the side-lighting is too much for the plant? The bottom of the leaves are very sensitive to the light, and they will curl down to "hide" from it.

yikes..... use the "finger test" method to water the plant. push finger down 2" into soil when you think you need to water. if it's dry that far down, water. if it's moist, let it go another day and check again. water until you see dripping out of drainage holes of container, and your done. when you are watering, use a regular cup. pour in water, wait 20 seconds or so, then give it a little more. you want to wait a bit so they you can watch to see watering draining so you know when to stop. other than that, make sure your ph is between 6.2-6.8. give the plant as much light as you can. mix your nutes carefully and acurately. do not mist the plant. check all your basics and you should find the issue, or it'll resolve itself. hope this helped. good luck :)

I was a little confused, that's all. I don't believe I've ever seen a plant droop because of lack of nutes, but I have seen one droop because of over-nuting. I just wanted clarification.

I water every single day and 2 days at the least. I don't over do it though and dump gallons into the pot. Anyway leave droopyness is always under or over watering. Give that bitch some water and watch her become erect in 24 hours.

That's pretty much what I thought too. I have seen droopage in cases of too much of a dose of nutes putting plants in shock.
