i agree, and crossing 100% mexican sativa with something else was definitely progress because alone, it sucks balls. i wasnt referring to local terms i was saying that the strain itself is junk. although it is very true taht when crossed properly and used to its full potentially it can create some devastatingly good breeds.

totally agree... and this proves my point that for everyone is different in what they consider good.... but on a side note you can smell this weed thru the bag( granted a mexican lunch box lol) its all sweet and spicy smellin and takes a blunt or so to get you goin good for a couple hours ... but kno it doesnt look all that awesome hence i said mid as in a step above reg or swag

i'm still refering to the blanket statement that mexican sativa is shit. I think popcorn refers to middies more than a strain. I'm in texas and never heard of popcorn except in reference to buds that are lower in an indoor setup that haven't fully matured to sell as Dank. could be wrong
yes those do look more indica than most mexi-brick i've ever seen or grown out.

yeah ive mostly hear of it in the dfw area and a lil around that,, but when i lived i nhouston they never heard of it and people from austin i kno said they never heard of it.... as being called popcorn as middies that could be but then again idk im jus goin on what ive been told by the growers brother..... and yeah if it its a strain ( cross) they defiently picked a stupid ass name cus everyone i talk to throws that in there "oh you mean the scragally bud that didnt get light" i mean ive taken pictures that i wish i could of kept ( phone got smashed) that were as big as my whole palm so it cant be those if so wow i wanna see the cola on that.....
but as it bein more indicaish looking and the high is defently a mix and the smell resembling more a sativa side then it def has to be a hybrid ....

depends on what crowd you hang around man... you wont ever here any weed connoisseurs use the term popcorn to describe weed... its a term that originated from the hood because most people there dont even know what bud on the plant looks like... when they see uncompressed bud in a bag they started calling it popcorn... and according to this report they are now calling it a strain
i know this for a fact because i grew up in the hood in one of houston's wards and in DFW as well as oakland, CA (my family moved alot) so i had the privilege to see many different sides of the drug game and also got caught up in it... somehow i made it out ok!
but do a lil experiment find a dealer and ask him for some corn in texas... then go to another town and ask for corn then another and another... they should charge
u anywhere from 100-200 an ounce and you'll notice its never the same strain... its the whole "dro" thing all over again... its been around for years... since like '99. its just a marketing scam probably pushed by the cartels... ah well it works and what can i say, back in the day i used it to sell some reggie at ridiculous prices myself
