yeah after i started the thread i knew id catch hell but i didnt think the damn 12 year old canucks would be so damn persistent about what his uncle lefty told him about the ole "marijuana" eh..... he showed his age early on and perceided to prove his maturity read some of the post about " he dont classify mids" but any way thats all garbage he obviously hasnt experienced many thing .... not saying im a damn guru or anything but i have had my taste of the ladies and havent found one i wouldnt smoke even if it was mortered into a damn wall haha but the moral of the story i got some input on some guesses as of strain and that popcorns a damn marketing label if only it came with butter ........

this is of the local usdoj website haha they are now recognizing " POPCORN" is a reletively new strain.... grown throught texas and a few close states.... a few growers on here are also growing this and lots of people have bought this before it is very popular in this area ...... its a head trippy high , large fluffy buds somewhat light green and many red hairs it smells very fruity/ spicy smell lol i love how they use "tweener" as a name for mid... ive also heard it as being sold for medical when grown right it is a mid but closer to higher grades,,,, ill provide more growth and harvest reviews in a few weeks hehe but i finnally have proof that it is a recognized strain well at least by the athourities

yeah its kinda local i guess cus ive never heard anyone call weed popcorn anywhere else ( besides the baby nugs all scraggly and shit) except for this area lol but oh well its never been bad and always looks and smells great and i got lucky findin seed in the qp lol ( some people would be pissed but to me.... pure gold ) but shit man idc it grows and i'm 2 for 2 on female this batch with the seeds from it so hope it smokes at least as good as it was a a few months back hahaha

Sorry to resurrect this thread but just had to throw my 2 cents in.
While I do live in Texas and have heard and used the term popcorn, to me it always just meant fluffy small buds(always seedless) of whatever generic strain.
I mean who is gonna pay $300-$400 for a bunch of tiny buds?
If this was a Texas slang expression it is no longer.
In San Francisco a month ago I bought a oz in the Haight, and that is what he called it "untrimed popcorn" $100/oz).
