Growing in pc 1st time

hi all
its my 1st time experimenting growing mj in a pc box iv taken evrything out.iv put alluminium foil evry were inside and put 2 fans one blowing in and other blowing out i have know been up nearly all night trying to find information on lighting and so far i believe i should use cfl lighting as my pc box isnt really big i will most prob only have 1 plant in there how many cfl light do you think i will need for just one plant ??? i just thought i needed more than 1 bulb ???

i read on the fourm and it says

"All you need is a 42 watt bulb, 1 for veg close to 6500k and 1 for flower close to 2700k. Switch them out when have to or you could just use the one bulb for flower straight from seed if you're tight for cash "

can somebody find me a link to buy the bulb and the holder with the plug i just cant seem to find it anywere am from uk and am sorry if i sound like am being a pain

Cfls plug into a regular light socket and can be purchased at home depot or wal mart,they are cheaper at home depot.

you could buy a metal hood reflector with socket, like the one in my avatar. take it home, unscrew the hood and put a " y" fitting in the socket and have 2 lights on the plant... :)

thanks for your replys guy so i would be better of geting a y fitting and having 2 bulbs witch cfl bulbs would you recommend thanks so much for replys

6500k for vegging. you could try 2 bulbs. it may be too hot in there then. try it, then check temps. if 2 42's dont work, tone it down a bit and try one 42 and 1 23 watt.... that may reduce heat in there. more light = more and better bud. keep up the good work....

thats the only place i can think of without anyone at home finding it :)

how much do them bulbs normaly cost ?? in uk price and how many fans u think al need would it just be one blowing in and one blowing out does the rpm matter on the fans ???
and what seed would you recommend buying for a first time grow in a pc box ????

Your ventilation should be enough for a PC grow box.. don't get too fussed about the rpm etc. With those two fans and you opening the pc every now and then to look at them will be enough air circulation.

oh okay cheers m8 and what seeds best for someone thats growing first time or can i just get any lol a friend said i would be better of geting a plant that grows short rather than one that grows really tall any body know anything about that thanks ppl all help appriciated

i dont do uk prices... lol. in America, those lights would be about 7 bucks or so each. bagseed is good because it's free. it's bad because you could waste all your time and money in elec. on a male plant. also, you need to get GOOD bagseed weed, not schwag. otherwise you'll be growin schwag. if you want to buy seeds, buy feminized seeds. try the attitude seed bank. they're safe and reliable. also, if you try attitude, you could get an autoflowering dwarf, which is fairly short and flowers from seed..... good luck

you may also want to rid yourself of the aluminum foil for mylar,it directs the light,which may in turn,burn your babies,and noone wants that.14 -20 pounds per roll online at various shops.
