HELP! Urgent! Plant Help. +rep

okay so I transplanted my plants into separate pots today, just a minute ago actually.

all along I have been using miracle gro potting soil which obviously already has nutrients in it. now, I did have 3 plants in one pot with that soil. the plants seem to use up those nutrients rather quickly, so I went out and bought a nutrient so I could feed them.

now my dilemma comes. since I've put them in new pots with NEW SOIL, the same soil with nutrients already in it, do I still need to provide it with more nutrients or will the new soil provide the plants with a new resource of nutrients for the time being?

and yeah I know MG isn't the best, I was using it unknowingly and my plants seem to be doing well at this point so I'll just roll with it. it's my first grow anyway.

and the reason I say this is urgent because one of my upper leaves is developing a little brown tip and from what I understand that can be caused by nutrient deficiencies? is there any other reason it could be doing that?

any help is appreciated, thanks!

yes nute burn will affect the leaf tips by browning them and making them curl up or down.
stop the nutes(just water them) for a week and make sure its not light burn from the lamp being too close which also causes tip burn and usually burns the leaf edges as well.
i think from what you are saying its definatelly too much nutes.
that M.G. soil is not good for cannabis plants.

Well I haven't added any additional nutes as of yet, whatever was in the soil initially is the only thing that my plant is absorbing besides water. So maybe the soil itself has too much nutrients for my plant? or maybe not enough? Do the brown tips automatically mean too many nutes or could they mean not enough?

brown tips = too much nutes.
brown tips and burned leaf edges = heat stress(light burn).

where are the pics of nute burn ????????.
(cant see any:-?).
so i wont guess what your problem is from your thread without seeing some evidence of your plants condition.
sorry but i dont play guessing games (as many do) as it only leads to wrongfull information being dished out.

do not flush soil with nutes added. when you water it breaks open the nute balls causing more nute burn. the biggest mistake made using m.g. soil is overwatering. buy yourself a moistier meter so you will know when to water. good luck, kevin:peace:

iF YOU JUST TRANSPLANTED RIGHT NOW THEN THE YELLOWING COULD BE A NUTRIENT DIFFCIENCY. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU USE 1-2 TABLE SPOONS OF NUTRIENT MIX ALONG WITH 1-2 DROPS OF B-1. this will spring them back and help with shock from the transplant. good luck.

when you are having plant problems the last thing you want to do is add more nutes... slow down and think, you have a nute problem so you want to add more? might as well over water them while we're at it?

He speaks the truth, don't go adding more nute burn and over water isn't pretty to look at bud.

yeah I'm about to give up on this fucked up plant. I cut more holes in my pot at the bottom for drainage, she still has showed no signs of draining. my other two plants are in the same soil and are doing well but I will definitely transplant them when I get a hold of some different soil. I have my nutes mixed already so whenever the time comes for them to be used then I will use them.

I would post pictures but I don't even feel it's necessary as I'm thinking about just killing this plant. it's not doing that bad at all but I got some new seeds that I want to plant and I don't have room to have 5 to 6 plants going at the same time. unfortunately.

so yeah, I'm gonna go update my grow journal with photos if you all wanna see them there I guess. idk. :(

thanks guys.
