I find myself smoking before work, at lunch and when I get home and guess what, I have been doing so good at work they gave me a pretty big raise. They also moved me up to a position where I can start the climb up the ladder (not a big place either, small company).
By FAR I get the most done in my little home office/shed (my wife banned me from smoking inside so I built an office out in my shed). I have a terminal to repair computers, remote access to my entire network, VOIP access...all of it.
My boss is the type that could care less what or how I do my job or how long it takes, he gives me tasks, I do tasks and then he gives my wife a check. My hours have gone from mon-fri 8-5 to whenever I want which is nice because it means I can wake up early and get my whole "work" day done by like noon.
Overall my wife and I are in a tight financial spot because she decided to go back to school. As of right now she is done and has an apprenticeship which means another 6 months or so of $8 an hour but it beats single income. After this raise we will be back in a MUCH better place. We have a little bit of debt from a little vacation she HAD to have for her mental health but nothing we won't have paid off in 6 months (not to mention we shifted it to a 0% for 12 months card).
So here I am, someone who smokes 3 times a day and probably goes through 3 oz a month living the suburban dream. I am >25, making great cash, getting ready to sell my starter house for a great profit and build one most people twice my age could not afford. Man it is good to be young and smart.....
