I just wanted to say... I miss the 80's. I grew up during the 80's.

Just seems like now that I'm 27. I dunno, just seems like all you hear about these days is violence. The news are always showing things like, people killed the war (past&present wars), high school kids shooting at innocent kids with automatic rifles, tornado's, hurricanes, floods, banks being robbed, high speed chases through California(always in cali),. It's you see so much more of it.

And kids having kids... man. It's not really the kids fault.. its the punk ass parents. they should have been watching their kids better than that ya dig?

Dude, you are a 90's person. Shit, you were a baby in the 80's.

The media, news, paper, radio always looks for bad stuff to comment on and target readers like yourself that feed off of that stuff.

All we can do is try to be better than what we remember

well ima 90's baby... born in 90' lol.... but i see what ya mean about the news but i just think thats cause if u always heard about what good people did then they wouldnt wanna watch it..wait maybe that why there is so much violence.. we see it on the news and its become "normal".. omg tell the press we gotta show the good like who won teacher of the year... and like who really went to college and how many people graduate highschool... why do we always wanna see the bad in things?? its almost like we only look for the bad.. you hear when they do the weather its like... ok and yeah thats a cloud comming and it will bring rain and high winds and possibley will last threw the night.. not like ok today were gunna have some covering from that hot ass sun and hey guess what rain will cool us down and after we might get to see a rainbow and it might last all night so remember to bring your dogs in.. we need some happy in our lives.... thats why weed is good... i hate the news cause of all the bad.. so when im high i cant just enjoy some chowder, or the lil mermaid(i like her shes f*in hott..)... you know things that will make me laugh and when i gotta go somewhere i can be happy instead of saying to myself "shit out in the f*in world again".... yeah ok i wrote to much now im just babbling sorry if this screws up ur post...

No, see I was born in 1982. I mean.. I was 10 years old come 1990. I just remember alot of the 80's songs. I remember them, from hearing them on the radio station around here. Like if my mom was picking me up from daycare at the end of the day? I always listened to the radio all the way home. I dunno. Just seems like things (life too) was more peaceful back then. Thats all im saying. :) :leaf:

But yea I know what you mean. All we can do is hold on to our memories.. and do what we can.

I get what you mean man. I miss the simple times when I didn't have worry about adult shit. Money, bills, etc. I also liked the whole innocence of back when I was a kid too. Just running around without a care about anything except how to amuse yourself... ahh good time.

im not a dumb ass parent, my daughter had a baby at 18 so that makes me a dumb fuk or what..

Also i grew up in the eighties i dont see how u could when i got years on you...

I liked the 1980's better from what i can remember. I was younger too.

Personally, if i could, I'd prefer to go back to life without internet, cell phones, etc etc etc

Gimme a lil cabin in the woods and a grow tent. I'll be happy.
