Dumb question; will a male show pistils? My sativa is a week into flowering and I have pistils showing all over. (I don't have a scope yet) So are the other parts I'm seeing grow near the bottom of the pistils baby buds? Any help much appreciated.

Some of the pistils on the main cola are about 1/4 inch long, easily seen with the naked eye. The calayx portion seems to have almost doubled in size overnight. I've got a lot of time into this and don't want to screw it up. Plant is chest high on me....

I was concerned because the calyx swelled overnight. I have white hairs coming out at all the nodes. The hairs were first visible on the main cola. Like I said, she's chest high on me, I've been 12/12 since Aug. 7. I know I vegged too long but it was growing like a weed..... Pictures are crappy but I will try to attach. And yes I know she's a little stretched but this is my first indoor attempt using only CFLs. Thanks for all the help to everyone. I know I haven't posted much, but I've been reading and learning.

you got urself a very strong sativa type plant ..... if she's 4ft now, she might be 10-12 when she's finished? hope you got the room? and time, lotsa time. generally strong sativas can take up to 14-15 weeks. That's the crappy stuff, the good stuff is it'll probably blow your head off. If you get some other pics and of the entire plant and other close ups of the leaves, I'm sure there are some people on this site that will be able to help more. I've been addiing lights weekly. Mostly 2700k sinve I went 12/12, but still have a couple higher spectrum bulbs. I used splitters on each socket to double up on the lights. I'm going to get some clamp lights with splitters today so I can adjust them a little more easily. Adjusting the lights is a daily pain, but I guess it's all part of a CFL grow. I do have a 70 watt HPS light but it's not wired up. My ceiling is about 9 feet, so I guess I'll keep waiting, and keep buying lights. It's bagseed, but it was some killer stuff. Good enough to prompt me to plant some. I only got three seeds out of 2 ozs.

YEAH ADJUSTING LIGHTS ALL THE TIME IS A PAIN IN THE ASS I DO IT ALL THE TIME TOO.. THEY GROW SO FAST..:clap:
