OMGanja It feels so much better to know that I got a grow set up going that is alot better then my past set-ups, i think its looking alot better comparing it to how i started these plants and how my last grow went lol.

2 CFLs one is 42 watts=150 watts (2700 lumens), the other is 3 way..got this one on accident but it works lol, its 29 watt=150 watt (2150 lumens)..well thats what it says on the boxes
I plan on getting 2 more lights when i get the money to afford them

but yeah check it out and tell me what you think..advice is appreciated..i got to admit, this site rocks and the people on it :) lol, cuz if i didnt go here for help n advice...i'd either start a fire...or start nothing at all...and thats not what i want. i want some bud, well...dont we all?:weed: lol

oh yeah and i know i gotta do something about reflection..i forgot to get some white paint that sticks to plastic...what if i put some white printer paper in there...but not close to the lights..like under the pots kinda..would that help until i get some real reflection going? and if you were wondering..yeah i moved the plants a bit closer to the lights.

I have a very similar box setup for my seedlings at the moment. About the same dimensions, with two 65w and one 50w CFL in there (dunno what the incandescent equiv is) about an inch away from the tops of the seedlings. However my box is kept open at the top as I have a 250w MH hanging about a foot away from it.

I used plain A4 paper to cover the entire inside of the box. Probably better than nothing, although its not really practical for a grow room (tears, gets soggy, fire hazard, stains). I'm not too bothered about maximising light reflection and all at the moment as they are only seedlings but eventually as they grow out I'm going to lose the box and have the entire closet they're in covered in mylar.

box looks great man next grow start your plants out in smaller pots most people use dixie cups for the first week or so until they get a good root system and then step up into 6 in or one gallon pots
but above all its looking good
ive never seen plants like yours tho
was it because of the light you first had the leaves look kinda round whats up with that?
just curious would like to see some better shouts of the kids

sorry i didnt write you back the other day i had this big long message wrote and my computer fucked up so i just was like fuck it ill do it later and forgot but that box looks good man

lol yeah, i actually moved them into bigger pots so i can cover the base of the plants more with soil..cuz at first they were so skinny n leggy, i thought they'd break or fall easily some how the way it was lookin..and yeah it was cuz how i did it at first..cuz at first..i used the window, then i moved it to a horrible set-up which was a fire hazord lol, n then i moved it up on my dresser with one cfl, and then here i am now..i'll leave an update thread next saturday..so yeah in 1 week i'll really hope i start see'in improvements..which i most likely will. hopefully by then i'll collect another light nd some better reflection

nice..sounds pretty good. a 250w MH seems great to have in there with it for some more light, what i'ma do for my light situation is just buy 2 more cfls..since the Y splitters give me more possibilities..and an upgrade like that is always better, but i'm sticking to the boxes, its gunna be easier and more like my level of growing skills lol

correct me if i'm wrong but you have an intake fan and no exhaust? or passive exhaust? because just as a suggestion i recommend moving the fan so you have passive intake and fanned exhaust
