Actually 24 hours of light losses makes a huge difference. This will set the plants clock back. Plants will notice complete darkness in 2 minutes or so. When there's a power outage try to put the plants by a window and turn any light on on your room. This isn't a problem for veg plants though but for flowering plants it can get tricky if your lights are on when it's dark outside and power is lost lol.

i too would like to see a reference for this... they aint gonna notice 2 mins of lost light.. they will notice 2 hrs but wont affect them espeacily in veg state... i dont know if i can put my 5ft bushes in my windows in a power out.. if that was the case ide grow in my front yard... if theres a power outage, how am i gonna turn any light on in my room??? its a powerout!!! dont think a flashlight or candle will help

well in veg they will stretch more if theres dark periods... a plant on a 16hr as aposed to a 24hr cycle will stretch more... every1 needs sleep tho even our plants...
well my indoor plants dont stretch and they are on 18/6
well ya on a cfl they wont really strech cuz the lights r close to the plants.. but with a HID it would... u do know what im sayin rite???
stretchins fine by me too.. i super-crop so gives that extra space for my buds to breathe when they grow vertical....i get u

i hear ya... 4 more weeks!!! wish it was like 2 or 3 so i could pump it out b4 the outdoors come around... its super dry round here and i could charge out the ass rite now but soon there will be massive outdoors for dirt cheep.. will be harder to get the $$$ i want... dont get me wrong.. i know ppl that will pay and wait for quality nugs but when theres soooo much cheep weed, ppl look at there walets espcal with this shityy economic crap we have
