First attempt at flowering

Hey guyz, this is all new to me, been tinkering for a couple months, now im gonna try flowering a couple of plants to see what happens. I have 1 plant that vegged for approx 23 days( the taller one) and the other about 16 days ( tryin the seemorebuds method) my space is limited, that's why the height experiment. here's a couple pix!

ktown, thanx i'll b posting with any developments

king, several, the four in the center are 150w equivalent cfl the big one on the clip is a 300w equivalent cfl, and in the back I have a 120w eq cfl( soon to be another 300 watter)

Looks good! The plants look happy and not too leggy. I will subscribe and check-in when you have some pics of the buds. Good Luck! ;-)

I know you didn't ask but...Started a new Mom and have 5 clones rooting, 18 hour cycle. all T-5 lighting. Planted in a mix of Hydroton & Coco nuggets. Started in rock wool cubes. Nutes are basic, 1/2 recomended Fox Farm Growbig with a dash of Big Bloom for veg and clone rooting and on Flower side it's a lighter mix of Tiger Bloom with a dash of Grow Big and Big Bloom. 25 gallon Coleman cooler is reservoir:weed:
though my closet has gotten more complex over the years I Love LOW Tech indoor grows. Keep it simple! I grew my first crop of nearly all males from seed with 2) 4 ft flourescent bulbs mounted vertical in my college room closet (1977). Not bad brownies from them but not much else! Gack!

lol, your setup looks great, the buds are lookin ripe!

I have a couple mhs in the ol garage but all the bulbs I have very blue spectrum, so I decided to try cfls and see if they work ( hopefully keep my costs down) so far so good. I'll be postin plenty of pix, hopefully of buds!

Youre doing great, my plant just started to flower, but I had to move it to a friends house, long story. But Ill be keeping an eye on everyones on here just to keep me from missing mine all the time. lol

i hear ya i had another plant in there but it got way too tall way too fast so I had to give her away:sad: but i'll stiil get to enjoy the benefits, she's about 4.5 weeks in and lookin great! I have to get out there and get new pix!

Well so far no Luck! Checked on them this mornin and my tallest plant had balls!! Argh! Oh well I added two more girls to box and the third one has been in there almost a week and no signs of sex yet, wish me luck. I'll b posting updated pix later today…

ok guyz quick update, I had a small mishap with the 64w bulb fallin on one of the plants, not for too long though only small burning on one leaf, otherwise looks fine. the other bad news is 1 of the other 2 plants may be showing early signs of male flowers ( i'm starting to get nervous ) and so that would only leave 2 plants in the running to be my first mother so my fingers are permanently fixed into the locked position!! in the meanwhile I got some superthrive so i'll be tryin it on my next feeding in a couple days. thats pretty much it! I need some good female vibes guyz! so send em my way!!

I feel for you, I got really lucky my first grow, I threw a seed in a pot for the hell of it and it turned out female. I was sure it was gonna go hermie on me cuz I went through hell learning on it. Over trimming, over watering, bug attacks and what not, but its turned into a beautiful little girl. Dont expect much out of it, but I learned everything I need to know on that plant. I almost feel bad for her. lol. She's had it so hard.

I gave my friend one of my overgrown plants ( sadly without cloning it) and he threw it in his yard and now a month and a half later, VOILA!, he's got an 8 inch cola!@!! :finger: but, the good news is, I still get most of that harvest anywayz... so 2-4 more weeks and i'll finally smoke some homegrown!!! cant wait.

well everything looks pretty good, i've been dealing with some heat issues, temps in the flowering box get up to 95+ degrees when the lights are on, and that's with my house ac running at 70!! needless to say i'll be lookin for some micro cooling options. I also added a new plant to the mix, she's about 17 days old and is the perfect candidate to test my ebb and flow bucket! so here i go and wish me luck!!

CORRECTION!....Ahhhh I'm an idiot! I meant 400watt HPS in the 'check out these 400watt MH clones' title.... oop brain fade. Probably obvious anyway from the color of the light in the pics. I used to use them but the more red spectrum really flowers the best. Happy gardening!
