ya def trying to rival ur grow bterz. but idk if itll happen cuz my buddy FImmed wrong. od me afavor Bterz go bak a page or two and look at the close up and let me know wat he did wrong cuz everyone says its more of a "topping" then a FIM which i agree with i think he just straight up cut a branch off lol.
also were about to flip to 12/12 next week guys so anyone with suggestions for organic nutes let me know asap plz. were planning to use molasses and jamacian bat guano so far but need sum other ideas if theres any out there...

Bro I'm sorry I dunno what that is! I cant imagine the stock splitting into two after that, thats for sure. The objective of "TOPPING" is to get the main stalk to split into two. When the new growth is still nice and tight, you can cut the new growth off completely (not the stock completely). Like so..
The objective of a fim is very similar to the objective of a top. Its to get the main stalk to branch into MULTIPLE tops though. FIM simply is a top, but instead of 100% of the new growth gone, you cut about 70-80%, leaving about 20% of the new growth intact..like so.
As for organic nutrients, I would try anything that is most simple. I really like the Fox Farm Big bloom, its basically just bat guano and is 100% organic. Molasses is great too, but you really gotta put something in there that is a good additive. I would try some liquid AN Big Bud (not organic) and some AN Overdrive. It will really, really help your finished product. After that, just give it a long flush and trust me, you will taste nothing but sweet earthy OG.

ya i know how to FIM and top and the differences and all about it. the problem is my biz partner is the location holder and the one who does the daily maintenace im the one with all the knowledge but he had a "buddy who knew wat he was doin: come over cuz i couldnt that weekened (i was outta town) and they did it. then i come home and go over to inspect wat i expect and it was nuthin like ive ever seen before. my theory is we lost half the crop due to that minor but big mistake so we will see. lesson learned tho shit happens. but thanks for the info bterz! i gotta come check out ur new grow still

got sum more pix to keep u guys entertained hope u like. the close up pix are the cutting he made that wasnt a FIM or topping. but its basically turned into a lil stump kinda sad. but thyere still growin good and gettin a lil busher. were thinkin about doin LST on them to promote growth. but flipping to 12/12 next tues.

You will get good growth from all the other branches. You didnt kill your harvest, you just stunted there growth incredibly. All the good side branching coming from the main stalk will all catch up and be a nice even height by tuesday..

Great setup man, I think your choice of lights was perfect. 4 600w I think gives you the most bang for your buck.
Funny thing, My first indoor grow was a deal like yours. I went over his house once a week to fix things.
Nothing a little vegging cant cure. Just keep his ass away from the scissors during flower and you will be alright.

hey just reread thru your q&a page that you had, my biggest question if you dont mind, mostly because you said your pops is an A/C man - what size carbon filter and fan are you gonna run 75lbs? maybe i missed it when reading? I only ask as I am getting set for a 8x7x15 room (840) and you are at 10x10x8?(800) and am also gonna run 600s but will be using 6 of um towards the end. but been going bk and forth on filter and fan choice> anyone else out there is more than welcome to input also.
