Anyone Ever Grown Tobacco ? With cig prices expected to reach over $10.00 USD per pack ( $100.00 per carton ) within the next 5 yrs, I have been thinking seriously about growing my own tobacco. Anyone ever grown any?​

Our family in italy has a tabac farm in avolino....

well my mothers side... pretty coool.. i loved hangin up the tabaco in the cellar.

ive thought about it, for next year in my garden. where do people bet seeds for tobacco plants, and whow many plants would equal a pack of butts? ive seen the history channels special on making cigarettes, but other than drying it, is there anything you would do to "cure" the tobacco leaf?

It's probably illegal in Canada lol.. I know in the UK you can now make 2500 liters of alcohol for your vehicle and other countries you can grow tobacco but Canada has become a very anal and repressive place as of late.

Love to know if it's worthwhile mind you as anything tobacco related is brutally expensive here. One habit I wish I could quit!

Love to hear if we can grow it along side but if I recall the stuff gets huge?
